I know it’s not exactly a hot take, but Lokonga belongs absolutely nowhere near this team. Sloppy on the ball and has no positional sense or initiative off it. He’s an easy target, but he’s at fault for the goal. Leaves a massive gap and then stands around doing nothing to help.

Yep Alvarez had freedom of Manchester for that goal
Partey better not be injured

Result aside I'm sure you can't be too disappointed with the performance starting 11 included?
I hate losing any match but the two league games must surely be more important to you and even winning one would be what you want?

You haven't seen this thread when we normally lose.
No one is really that bothered tbh.
The drop off when Partey isn't there can be seen a mile off, looks like the club is trying to do something about it.

Though a win would have been good for belief, Arsenal’s record against City is terrible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
not in the FA cup before this game
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but in general. And two of those wins were at Wembley. They’ve beaten you ten in a row in the league and are 13 unbeaten with 11 wins. It’s crazy it’s been that bad.
It’s a shame Vieira yet again a had non existent performance. I know he’s been bought for the future but expected something today.
At least Trossard looks a handful

we will beat them at the Emirates
I think Trossard should've stayed on and with Martinelli and subbed saka
PP, there’s a good chance for sure. Good news for Arsenal that game comes before the one at the Etihad.

aye fans do go a bit mad when their teams lose and I agree if you are gonna lose a game against them this would be the one
Why is nobody criticizing Saliba for the goal. All he needed to have done was stretch a left leg to block Ake’s shot but he tied both hands behind his back and arched his body away as Ake took aim.

If you beat them at the Emirates the second could mean fairly meaningless.
Lokonga walked straight down the tunnel without clapping the away fans
Bit of a shame he looks so lost, he has talent.
People rave about KDB, but City’s most important player is Rodri- speed, presence, positioning.
In my opinion the best 6 in the world; yes better that Partey.
I think if we continue with the league form, we have a good chance against City in the home game
Trossard played v.well. he's a genuine option for us, not just another body
Hope we respond from this. Everton away won't be a gimme with them getting a new manager and us not beating them away since October 2017.
Bloody heck, Castor is positive about us winning for once. We really must be good

That was pretty much a full strength city team. We played well considering we had a mixed team.

I do think Trossard would cause a lot more damage playing Central.
Matchday! Got to take advantage of playing before city.
Havent won at everton for a while so need to change that
Why oh why did they have to appoint a new manager before our game
Our record against Dyche sides is pretty good but it's still likely gonna be a much tougher challenge than under Lampard
Dyche is going to double Saka and Ode. That leaves space for Xhaka and Martinelli to create and score.
Damn, no Partey, Odegaard or striker 😳
