Imagine if that had been Gundogan.
Decent half, should be 1 up.

we don't have to any more
Havertz will be a goal scoring machine with the positions he gets into
Havertz was excellent btw. But the second chance should have been buried.
Shaky start but we came into it and should be a goal up
You can see the benefit of a solid midfield when playing against quality like City
Should have spent that 100m on a striker.
100m is too much for someone that passes sideways and shows passion
2 shots on goal, none to City

Yeah, bit weird people are moaning we aren't all out attack when everyone knows if we did that City would destroy us like they always do. This is the exact game plan they wanted instead of how we played last season against them.
Havertz best so far out of 3 new singings. Timber also solid, Rice playing like Elneny
It will take Rice the longest to show his qualities, he played under moyes for ages
It was always going to be harder to convert Rice into a box to box midfield player than teaching Havertz to defend. And Havertz has been in that position most of the game anyway and held his own under a lot of pressure.
Decent half, grew into it and ended up looking stronger vs a more settled City line up. 3 new starters slotting in well, the versatility of the three will give us great options throughout the season. Havertz looks like he's capable of being the target man type alternative to Jesus that we needed, just gotta hope he doesn't get his head down after the misses. Rice looks steady and Timber looks like he can get involved like Zinchenko but actually defend too.
Get the impression we're taking it more seriously than they are, but plenty to be optimistic about.
Saliba will be huge again for us this year too.
Rice made himself a £100m player as a Dm. Thats where we should play him.
Good to hear Kathy Burke in the studio.
Disgusting fattism from Crouch.
If she shared her food with me, so doubtful.
No, I don't like her personality
What if she dressed up as Waynetta Slob?
Pete likes girth. Haven't heard from OP
