We will still top our group
We were poor and Arteta was poor. Saka should not have even started. Vieira was wrong choice to bring on when Trossard was already on the pitch we needed some speed. Smith Rowe should have started. Poor rotation again.
Should have been 1-1 though, Lens didn't deserve to win it, didn't create much and first goal was offside. Ref was crooked and against us all night. Gave them countless fouls for nothing, every 50/50 and ignored countless fouls on us.

Very unprofessional game. Reminds me of Everton away last season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its frustrating cos it was looking like a mature performance until we gave them a goal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We weren't keeping the ball before that. But sure it put the icing on it because it gave them hope and woke up the crowd.

*handball not offside
Strange we only got 4min of ET when there was about 1-2 min trying to yellow card the guy
I don't think we will beat psv or seville away from home. Home form is going to be imperative now
Man United got 8 mins of injury time played

I felt we looked comfortable on the ball at that point, even if we weren't progressing it into dangerous areas convincingly or consistently.

I wonder if they were thinking about Sunday. Really all it needed was to keep the ball. Not get frustrated and give away the game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing to do with Sunday. We have struggled in Europe throughout Arteta reign
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really, we got to the semi-finals of te Europa league in 2020-2021
Don't understand why VAR didn't look at the first one clear handball missed by the referee.
United banter home defeat should take the attention off us
Poor game from us. Lens managed that game very well, good defensively and took their chances immaculately so credit to them. But we really looked out of ideas very fast in an attacking sense. Just lots of pointless possession from us. Our Defence wasn’t great but lens were abnormally good at taking chances today. So for me it’s more that our control of possession couldn’t be converted into chances/goals which is the main worry. It’s the tale of most of the games when we drop points

so anyone know about Saka's injury?
It's the way we lost hurts more tbh. It was one of the worst games.
We are way light and lack quality on the bench. Not signing Saka's backup and striker is going to bite us in the arrrrs for sure, we better line up some options in Jan.
Arteta doesn't have plan B and it's becoming more evident in recent past, same players, no rotation.

It's the same rigid, possession based torture. It does not work in Europe
