I don't understand why Arteta doesn't play havertz on the right sided 8 position or 10 position. Vieira can play on his side

Havertz does not work on the left. A new position that he isn't good at

The whole left side has been poor. Bring Martinelli on and bring Trossard inside in place of Havertz. Trossard has not been good but he's got more credit in the bank than Havertz. Nketiah seems to be an all or nothing player as we saw capable of doing something like what happened on Saturday but if he doesn't do that he looks dreadful, no consistency.

Nelson has easily been our best, and most direct, player. Our big issue is Havertz and Trossard playing soft 2 yard passes to each other or Zinchenko. Vieira and Nelson not getting enough of the ball on the left to really impact but when they do they at least go forward.

And Eddie has been ineffectual because the ball never goes forward from the left.

Yeah - we are getting the ball into the final 3rd - but the front 3 aren't responding - but nelson looks the more likely to get a goal

I'll give you that Nelson has at least taken a shot. But you are not going to score from that wide. He is not Saka. Needs to attack the defenders more and win a pen. Which is likely when so many Hammers are camped in their pen box.

yeah. His play outside the box has been very good. But really loses confidence near the box.

What other defender have they lost?

I don't want to stereotype but Eddie looks so lazy. Does not pre-empt anything. I am sure he does well in training because he knows where everything is going but looks lost in a real game. If he scores one he is much more on the front foot.
