There's lots of highly paid players on the bench, can't just give youth players their minutes. How else do you foster competition.

We're not going to be relying on the youth, so you give the minutes to your squad players. It's really not that difficult to understand.

But we have plenty of established midfielders that we will be relying on. Why give their minutes away to youth players that we aren't planning to rely on this season?
