Training is not played at the same intensity. Playing all these players, given the hellish schedule coming up is absolutely idiotic. Also says something about Arteta's approach to youth development and integration. Outside his core squad, the guy just doesn't give a sheite about anything else.

Rubbish. Pep/Arteta are known for very intense training sessions which is why players often don't make it to games.

Where is your data that denies this?

Partey, Saliba last season, in fact most of our serious injuries have occurred in training.

The only injuries that you can point to with extra risk are impact injuries and that also depends on hoard we train. How much impact training we allow.

However at this time of the year Arteta has said himself that he is training less and so using the games as training sessions.

This game is being played at half pace by both teams and Arteta is already trying things, like playing Rice at CB.

Gabriel did a saliba there
