Which is lucky. Keep playing like this and they’ll score something stupid. Midfield has been non existent, Ode is doing his usual vanishing act in a big game, Partey is finished at this level. Rice also missing annoyingly.

That was a hopeless first half. We have been awful.

We have given them way too much respect. Obviously this game plan has Rashford and Bruno in mind, we need to go for it early in the 2nd half. Can’t watch another 45+ mins of us hanging on to a clean sheet

If this was at the Emirates I think we would have smashed these lot by 5 but we just play like idiots when at OT

We aren't actually duelling them in midfield. Just sitting back till they get near the pen area

This Utd team is toothless. How are Arsenal not only playing in 1st gear, but look tired?

Positive is we’re leading while playing crap, and in theory should have a few more gears to hit

That was simply awful. A team right there for the taking and look at the rubbish, tentative, sloppy display instead of getting on the front foot.

We'll be better 2nd half. Expect us to score a few more. We just need to be careful.

Amrabat is sitting on Odegard so we need to Rice to drop back and show for the ball to get out.

Get Partey off for Vieira or the Rowe, play Rice in his natural role instead of stinking up the place high up the pitch and take control of the game!

Still can't believe Arteta thought Havertz could play as an 8. Put us under needless pressure around the end a couple of times, by sloppy passing and poor control in midfield. Partey has been another sloppy player. Honestly think our most balanced midfield is Jorginho sitting and Rice as an 8.

Bring Jorginho on for Partey

Saka has been slow to get back into position. Even that one where he collided with Havertz it took a good 20 seconds to get up and start getting back, if your not hurt get up straight away.

Havertz and Partey have both been losing the ball.

I would seriously consider jesus.

Casemiro and Evans have hardly been troubled by our attack

Something about May he was terrible last year at this time as well.

Just nerves. Relax. We went goal up early and sat back. Arteta just needs to push up a bit. But his Moyes in him may mean we just continue sitting back.
