not an inspiring performance- but we did the job
was the brighton goal disallowed?
First half was okay. Second half we lost control for 20-25 min. Lots improvement needed.
Not a hugely impressive performance but a decent way to start the season
It would have been a more comfortable game - if Marti had made better decisions in the penalty box
I never want to see Gillett ref a game for us again
That was a decent start.
Then comes Villa away, Brighton at home, Spurs away, and City away.

Wasn't too worried about meeting Brighton after their first game - bit more worried after today - hopefully we us the Villa game today to sharpen our performance

Everytime you mentioned how glaringly short we are in attack, the usual smartasses pop up to muddy the waters by:
1) asking who you want us to sign or pointing out all the million problems with the named options (even though every other club seem to be doing business in attack - including City)
2) point out how many thousand goals we scored last season when losing the title race - because apparently, it's soooo hard to improve on Championship-level players like Nelson and Nketiah as squad options.
