Martinelli get ball run down blind alley then lose ball.

This inverting thing is working for Timber . He seldom gets the ball anytime he forays into midfield.

We’re doing ok , apart from the Gabriel error we’ve coped well with Villa’s attack , where we need to improve is at the other end , final balls have been a bit sloppy.

Just not dangerous enough going forward. Marti particuarly disappointing - they dont appear to be interested in marking him but hes like a labrador puppy trying to wrestle a rottweiler

Both teams look very risk averse so far.

No, hes on the bench managing

Not too bad a performance so far they only look dangerous when we switch off we are missing something though. I'm a big fan of Martinelli I remember seeing him live for the first time in a Europa game and thought he's gonna be special. At the moment it doesn't look like he's trained on. Bring Trossard on if we don't see an improvement soon.

Need to speed up play in deeper midfield. Bit too much stalling in that area before we launch attacks

I've liked Timber so far looks comfortable on the ball and at the moment doesn't look like the liability Zinchenko is in our third of the pitch.
