I think that's it for any pretence that we're challenging. Liverpool are finally slipping in not very difficult games but we can't score from open play.

Arteta talks about players who are flexible to play different positions but he's far too rigid in what he wants for certain positions. Why can't Nwaneri play with Ode in a game like this?

We were never really in it.

We have not played well all season.

Just hope we can maintain top 4

We've been coasting on home form.

Only 1 win in our last 6 away league games.

Playing both Nwaneri and Odegaard in the same lineup would be suicide.

You can't two free-roaming midfielders going off on their own adventures.

Rice and Odegaard subs were suicidal

Yeah not happening this season. It’s December and we still can’t get a consistent 11 playing together, and haven’t got much in the way of a working pattern play.

They don't both have to be gung-ho, plus Ode is pretty defensively aware... don't think it would be that risky

I think the wingers we have would respond to a quality goal scorer in the box

Yeah I think Ode would have the intelligence to take up slightly different positions a little deeper to get the ball between the lines to the forward players. I guess the intention was that Jorgi would do that instead

Chelsea have better chance to win the league than us ! I wont be surprised if we finish 4th
