Considering what has been spent on this team over the years, it's just amazing (pretty disgraceful really) how thin our squad is in attack. I mean, our squad wasn't this thin even when we were a selling club with plenty of kids in the squad. Brighton can bring on Mitoma, Minteh, March (who's returned from a veeeery long absence), Enciso, Rutter, or even wingback Lamptey who's useful in attack from their bench today and we're spamming the midfield with CMs because Odegaard is ill. Fabio Viera cost more than pretty much any player they have. Spent so many years spending tremendous amounts on crap like Pepe and moving them on for nothing. Shambles.

What has Pepe got to do with Arteta or Edu?

We'll just have to keep it tight and hope to hit them on a couple of set pieces. We were painful to watch when Odegaard was injured earlier (and that was with Saka looking to provide some creativity) in the season and there's no reason to expect much fluency today.

We have a silly amount of games in Jan and if we do sign anyone, it will be at the end of the window.

We could be out of every competition by then bar the CL
