Fully deserved point for Brighton. They were the better team and should have won it. Once again, it's absurd just how thin our squad is, and how few attacking options we have, given what we've spent on the squad. I'd have been happy to sign 2 attacking players to add quality and depth to our attacking options than signing Calafiori and Merino.

I don't think they deserved the point. It was a dubious penalty which generally won't be given.

Two points not dropped,just chucked awaywe came out in the second half and dropped back letting brighton into the game this is typical Arteta,player not performing Merino Gesus,should have been hooked off not allowed to just get worse,

Maybe Arteta's master plan is to lure Liverpool into complacent form by posing no threat to them

Gallagher said pen was alright.

Think it was more down to tiredness they had more time to recover and attacking options off the bench which we don't have which in itself is a crime. The real failure was in the first half when we had a chance to kill the game and we just messed about trying to kill the flow of the game.

arteta has executed his plan perfectly - it remains to be seen if Liverpool fall for it

To go into the season to have no depth in the striking position was absurd. Thats what has cost us.

Re pen: It's a weird one, can kinda see why it was given to some small extent but also it seems ridiculous.

Let's be happy we have another young star coming through in Nwaneri at least. I love this kid already, hopefully he doesn't get run into the ground like Saka.
