We didn't receive an £11m bid for Balogun, Sheffield United offered £3m. We said no because Arteta wanted to see if he could change his mind, which is why he got a few more opportunities in the EL.

Freezing Balogun out isn't going to encourage him to sign though, not even playing him in the cups is a strange decision. Unless we already know he's leaving

Auba is an established world class striker (shut up CT and GT, he is). Him leaving meant we struggle for goals.

Balogun has potential, nothing more. He also has a notoriously difficult agent.

Arteta’s man management is shocking. He needs to abandon this “my way or the highway” attitude. He’s paid to manage the egos and get the best out of the players. His management style is too one-dimensional and naive. Barring the threat of relegation he now knows that he’s got at least until June. I hope that the Kroenkes are looking for alternatives but know full well that they aren’t😭
