Kami-The issue is the start of the season. How shouldn't that put him under scrutiny? Even though Lampard has got the sack, he never allowed Chelsea to be anywhere near the bottom. Arteta re-wrote this history books of this club this season in all the negatives.

We finished 5th with Emery and lost the Europa final. I know ppl try to make out we were a disaster but that was not strictly true.

Playing down expectation is not good for a big club. I expected Arteta to finish in the CL positions at the end of the season. And competing for the top 4 is where I am sure he expects for himself. Not worrying abt relegation. its not the players fault when we were losing and not arteta's great management now that we are looking better.

Arteta is a young manager learning on the job. He will make mistakes and we have to accept he will. Perhaps at times he has been a tactically naive but I do see a manager who is learning and improving as the season goes on

I don't believe in a manager merry-go-round as I don't think too much would change. At the end of the day whoever we have in charge we all have to eventually be patient, trust a manager and give them a couple of seasons

Perhaps I am wrong and he isn't going to be good but on the positive side Arteta can take all the pain with squad clear out and then the manager we really want can reap the benefits

I doubt most arsenal fans expected CL. I expected progress from last season and I think we will judge that in May.

The squad is not as good as many people make out. It is about 6th or 7th at best
