Better players than him have struggled certainly in season one
Shevchenko one of the worlds very best
Crespo
Drogba in his first season
Jose looks like a good player but bringing him in and shifting another out doesn't really strengthen the squad though does it
Why bring cutrone back for two lots of 15 minutes then say nah not good enough

Talk of lpool in for traore - at £35 mill - tell klopp to eff off till summer
As I say I think Cutrone was an insurance policy in case we couldn’t get anyone else. Fiorentina didn’t want him so he came back here and has been staying in a hotel. Nuno clearly didn’t rate him last time and hasn’t selected him this time. So this second stay with us has just been a marriage of convenience for both sides. I still think Cutrone will be playing for an Italian team by the end of Jan
Good to see that Jonny has returned to training this week
Ronaldo last night scored his 760th goal of his professional career making him the highest scorer of all time. Definitely past his best now but still the top scorer in Serie A this season with 15 from 14 games
We are all assuming Jimmy is coming back sometime,, when or if nobody knows. Also will he be the same player as before.
Cutrone has not been given a fair chance this time or last, obviously there is a problem between Nuno and him.
I would keep him until we know more about Jimmy and the new guy, if he doesn't like it tough, he's paid by us.,
https://www.shropshirestar.com/sport/football/wolverhampton-wanderers-fc/2021/01/20/wolves-working-to-settle-patrick-cutrone-as-soon-as-possible/
this is what Nuno said about Cutrone yesterday. Cutrone may not be the answer But he's our player in a position we're painfully under-manned in
No question Tino that if Cutrone is still here on Feb 1st we need to find a way to make things work. But if we sign Jose I don’t see any route into the first team for him. Third choice looks likely. And he wasn’t happy with not getting games last time. Maybe he will get a start tomorrow and if he then gets a goal or two things will look rosier for him
The fact that Raul is back in light training and looking at Alex Telles's scar which looks very similar to his, I would assume that he's got a good chance of returning to full fitness.
I guess the main difference between Telles and Jimenez is that Raul is at a different stage of his career and has a family, the desire may not be there in the same way as before. Only time will tell.
Exactly Oldie, Raul being a striker whose main asset is heading, no-one knows if the confidence or desire will still be there.
thats the thing physical and mental recovery are 2 very different things
Cech was never really the same when he came back
We can hope but we can't be sure, therefore IMO we must try with Cutrone.
Heading is a big part of Raul’s game. I think I read in one of his interviews that he was told his skull would end up healing stronger than it was before. But you still can’t help feeling there’s going to be a little hesitation when he attacks a ball in the air, especially in a crowded area

im not sure if its the same thing but last march my youngest broke his leg, because of the healing process somethin to do with calcium? that particular bone is now his strongest.
but as I say its possible that Raul's biggest test will be a mental on... I seem to remember kenny miller being less brave when he came back from his injury
Sociedad's gaffer hinting the deal is far from completed and he's in their squad for Saturday, which means we'll get him on Monday and their gaffer can appease the fans saying it was beyond his control
I gather it would be early next week before we get a work permit anyway
just hope he dont get injured on sat
looks just what we need

watchin that 2 things strike me
1 - the sheer volume of headers
2 - most of the goals are 6-10 yards out, he seems genuinely composed
I don't go by utube videos. How many of the those have we seen over the years and when we get the player, he turns out to be a dud. The list is too long to post.

know what you mean - how can you judge a player when there's not one dive ?
Just use the imagination Tino. Just seen him score a fantastic hattrick of bicycle kicks that way.
