Should have gone for Tomori when we had the chance. An excellent debut for AC by all accounts. Very good player and would have counted as home grown.

Yeah, what we are seeing here is that you simply can’t hide inexperienced players at CB, that’s why so many start off at full back...and without one senior CB to help either.
Makes it even more strange as to why Spurs were so defensive when we were there to be shot at...

Matip - everyone n his dog knew made of weetabix
Gomez - some hoped they were just impact innuries and unlucky, but does it matter? Hes easily injured and hasnt completed a season in how many years with us now?
Vvd played 2 n a half seasons without missing a game didnt he?
Ppl felt fav is good cover sure hes been great but again last season missed months of footy and this season few niggles again.
Not good as it takes him out of mf, where hendos become injury prone and gini n milner r prob leaving, with gini being ever reliably fit. Thiagos already had covid and a long injury with us though through an awful challenge, his injury record isnt the best in his career either.
Thats before u get onto shaq keita ox and the weetabix gang 😂😂

AC have a 25m option to buy. I'm sure if we had thrown 40 at them, they'd have sold. He is fit, he's homegrown, he wants to play to get in the Euro squad, more PL experience than Ben White ( who I'm unconvinced on) and Chelsea like moving on the wrong players, so would have sold. He'd probably even have handed in a transfer request if he needed to force it.
