Spurs have spent millions the last 2 summers. No excuse for it.
We need to dip into the transfer market and get 4 very good players before I write the manager off.
-------
this would be applicable if there weren't other teams around the prem with far inferior players playing good football and picking up results... and are above us...
west ham and everton to name 2. Lesta to name 3.
they all have a system, and a manager who is getting tune out of players...
brighton play good football with far inferior players.. all of our squad stroll into their first 11....
if they actually had strikers who could finish chances they would be pushing Europe !
Good post mate but unfortunately it's the mangers job to get a tune out of the players.
Look at yesterday there was a stop In play Tuchelnwas up on his feet chatting to his players, Jose just sits there scribblinh in his book, he probably is playing Sudoku as its more exciting than us.
Spot on. This is how I see this current situation. There are too many average players. Our midfield is still lightweight and our defence not trustworthy. I really don't want to see another management change. We have to be patient and trust we can turn this around. that's how I feel.
Lloris
RB CB CB Reguilon
Hojbjerg Ndombele
RW GLC/Dele Son
Kane
we managed to get in 7 new players to seemingly improve the squad but only two improve the first XI and therefore leaving at least 4 areas needing improving still.
Aurier cannot be trusted and one of Toby or Rodon i wouldnt mind playing, two CBs is unrealistic.

most importantly... new manager
This is the same set of players that thrashed Southampton and Man Utd earlier in the season. I refuse to believe this group are only capable of dire, negative football.

Eriksen for today would be more like Ndombele or even Kane, than Lamela, which isn't as bad. Lamela is just a bit part player we use when we want to show more aggression on the pitch.

Yeah agreed he has to go. We'll also be in a mess if we sack him but at least it will be the beginning of fixing the mess.
It’s unbelievable that any Spurs fan can actually find some sort of way to defend Maureen, knowing his history and the poor state he has left his previous clubs in after being sacked by them.
Can only hope Levy is as blind as some of them and Maureen managed to stick out the rest of the season.

Yes I can picture a frightened Levy gently knocking on Joses door this morning
"Hi boss...hi... can i come in please"
Mou stares out the window
"Sorry my lord...sorry but I just need a couple of minutes of your time"
Mou slowly walks to the door and locks it
"Ok boss maybe later then...have a good day...ok then ....just 2 minutes....no...ok then bye"
Mou sips his coffee staring out the window
if Levy just allows this to rumble on then any previous credit Levy has built up with me (which has eroded a bit over the last year) will be gone.
Levy knows what the answer is..... its just whether he has the bollox, and if his pockets are deep enough.

I completely respect what you're saying. We're awful at the moment. The late 90s were painful too. I don't think you can compare the club to where we are now. I don't want another upheaval and new project. I'm not convinced that any of the coaches suggested are available or we could get right now. Why not give it until the end of the season?
Absolutely no chance that we improve if we sign more players.
We haven’t improved from last season and he got to buy about seven players.
It’s the system (or lack of) that is to blame.
