It was a pen, Hooper should have got out of the way, if it was at the other end, i would have been screaming for it.

I know what you mean. Reminded me of Madge blocking Big Kirk in the OF game of a year ago.
Stonewaller.
the guys arm is up in hoopers face, thats as much a foul as hoopers
can't understand why he brought sammy on especially when we're winning and he takes of a midfielder ,frankly i'm getting sick of it,stupid decisions from the management team are costing us bad.
I honestly do feel tho that that was never a penalty whichever way you look at it,a shocking decision imho, hooper clearly tries to get out the way the guy pretty much brushes against him and hit's the deck,my erse a penalty.
Smell, no Hooper actually touched the Udinese player.
i cant believe you can say hooper tries to get out of his way. i think the complete opposite. he tries to get IN his way. Lennon's comments could result in him being disciplined. he needs to learn to respect officials and not blame them for his team and his tactics failings....
Sorry, Tim, was a penalty mate - would honestly like to say otherwise.
paisley
i dont think hooper leans in anymore than the udinese player
that said, i was at the game and my initial reaction was utter disbelief, so i can see why hes said that

Once again a Scottish team is undone by the "cunning" of our more savvy European opponents. When will we learn?
Strikers should stay out of their own penalty box. They make terrible defenders and Hooper demonstrated why. You can have no complaints about the pen.
Ath i've looked at it a few times and i feel it's as soft a penalty as they come,he hits the deck with barely any contact looking for a penalty and the ref duly delivered.
no saying any ref conspiracy here btw before u gers fans go off on 1 just saying i think the refs made a mistake here imo
Tim.
Not disputing it was soft, but Hooper made it an easy decision for the ref, imho.
i think the ref had an absolute howler for both sides, some of his decisions were baffling, not quite as bad as the commentators stephen craigan
hooper blocks him with his chest ,arms in the air, no attempt to go for the ball but blocks the man, penalty soft but still a pen

i agree some of the free kick decisions that went for us were baffling tbh, then he had to ruin it by giving away a pen in the 88th minute
the way i see it,kayal and hooper try and tackle him he gets a break of the ball in the box,Hooper turns around realises he's too close puts his arms in the air they barge into each other,he hits the deck and the ref wrongly gives a pen

aye true Dos,looking forward to the weekend tae see how we handle the pressure at tynecastle(i think )should be interesting.
G'night mate
Aye Neil...the referee's one of those.......(not allowed to print the name)......who you blamed frequently last season for all your club's failings.
its the ILUMINATI again......it was defo a penalty...i have to say that there is a blame culture at parkhead....you are only as good as the players you have..to be fair you shouldnt even be there so...
