I'm not going to be critical of someone who gets 15 mins every few weeks. So difficult to do much in the time he had on the pitch. Would let the new manager decide whether he wants Dele or not.

Would be happy if he got back to his old form but also not too upset if he was sold if the new manager didn't fancy him.

A couple of years ago them flicks and tricks 9 out 10 times came off and we loved him for it.

Yes lack of match practice would effect his ability to nail them and look all fabulous in doing so.

Also not only playing a brief time would flag up mistakes and not give him longer to do something out of nothing.

I only saw him try - and fail - to do one flick. Which was a face palm moment. But he’s not gonna be match sharp with the amount of minutes he’s had this season, Jose has treated him like a right prik. To me he’s the least of our worries - the manager and the defence are a far bigger concern.

I agree he’s far from our main concern. But today’s flick was just one of several very poor moments for him in the game.

Should be selling as many of the defenders as we can first before worrying about Dele

Yep looks shiet anytime he’s on the pitch but right now he should be starting and have a run in the team.

He had a great relationship with Kane & Son on the pitch at one point and we need give them more help

Dele is the least of our problems.

Yeah we are dreadful at the back dier and sanchez are woeful I think it's always gotta be Toby and one other.

Dier keeping getting caught under the ball is doing my head in.

I dont see a world where dier or sanchez are sold in the summer and that is extremely unsettling. Both non homegrown CBs not good enough and have a bit of value on their heads. Especially as jts clear we are going to at least try sign a big foreign name at CB in the summer.

I would sell dele at this point but have to think of the balance of the squad. Yes he'll have a bit of value but it would be far less than what levy would like.

Cb, Rb, CM, playmaker, gk and forward (assuming Viny isn't still here) are absolutely essential at this point. That's at least 6 and we'd need to be proactive and sell as many or more than that to balance the books as we are that kinda club unfortunately.

We can't be left with dier, sanchez, Toby, rodon, tanganga and a new CB all at the club for example, Just bloated and have too many wasters in the squad. Sissoko and winks are two more for the chop. Painful rebuild, how accurate was that statement.

Jose ever done a rebuild at a club?

Dier is my least favourite spurs player by a distance right now, and that's saying something

I don't even rate Alli that highly but I can recognise that he'd improve this team under a decent manager.

Mourinho has never turned around a team once decline has set in. Forget rebuilding: he's never even managed to stop the rot once it sets in, let alone turn it around.

Ali's main strength used to be scoring in box with his timing and sometimes being involved in good link up play. His all round game wasn't that great and I have doubts he can ever be any good again. He is a luxary player.

I completely agree, but there are setups that he can fit into (basically systems with a second striker with a strong midfield behind to do the simple ball retention and recovery to cover for Alli losing the ball a lot). I'm sure there are plenty managers out there who could achieve a lot with an unconventional player like Alli.

Agreed but doubt many of the top teams around Europe would touch him now. Praying Poch takes him off us. Could make a nice raise off him which could come in handy to bolster the defence.

How much you reckon you’d get for him?

I (like many other non spurs fans) haven’t rated him since his breakout season, but get shouted down when this is mentioned.

Honestly would put him at Lingard level, and we all want him sold at united.

I think to another Prem team £45m would be fair because he is English. To PSG around the same give or take a few mill.

Dele is proof that the players don't listen to Jose at all.

He took him off earlier in the season (can't remember against who) after one of his silly flicks gave up possession cheaply in midfield and the opposition scored from it. Yet despite this and the fact that he has rarely featured in the Prem this season he hasn't changed his style at all and still carelessly gives the ball away time after time.

He used to have a great habit of scoring important goals even when he wasn't doing much else in the game but unfortunately that seems long gone.
