The shiiit may really hit the fan if we lose the cup final, assuming Jose makes it that far.

I think some will have it in their mind that things are rubbish right now, but we're still in with a chance of a trophy, so in losing that their belief in the manager and the team may go altogether.

Levy is like a guy who spends millions building a mansion but furnishes it with stuff bought from B&M & Home Bargains.

Levy reminds me of Mr Dudley from Little Britain.

Performance was very good yesterday, other than the usual feck ups at the back. Plenty to be positive about. Didn`t look to me like he lost the dressing room.

Eric Dier is probably a nice fella, but he just aint cut out to be a CB at this level. Problem is all the other CBs are just as bad.

Should be starting Toby and Rodon imo.

The good thing is that he's dropped Sissoko. That is one big positive.

The final is a one off game. City can be beaten, Jose has done it in two of the last three games against them. Also Europa League looks winnable, with some decent teams left, but no peak Barca or Real Madrid in the competition.

A lot can happen in the last two or three months of a season. Time to judge the manager will be at the end, not a minute before.

Totally agree
These two are proper CBs, and even if Rodon makes a mistake, he will learn and he has awareness around him in the box. Dier is clueless in the box.

He’s won you the league cup pretty much as he always wins wherever he goes. People need to be more grateful and stick by him.

Unless you want Spurs to go bust, Levy cannot spend billions on players, like City, who are bankrolled by a State. He has just bankrolled the club to invest in a near on billion pound new stadium, which will greatly increase income over the next 50 or so years, so not sure really what you want him to do. You have to cut your cloth to suit.

Jose wasn't in relegation form when he won those cup finals though. Also we look like playing one of the most in form teams ever.

Rodon looks like he has the potential to be a top player, might be an idea to get Tanganga partnered up with him as well, two young lads with there best to come.

I thought the 2nd half was quite encouraging yesterday especially when compared to the diabolical performances at Brighton and Wolves.

However what opponents must love about playing us is the way that scoring involves so little effort. They don't have to build up a head of steam and put us under much pressure as our keeper/defence are hopeless and give goals away like its going out of fashion.

If our defence had any backbone and Hugo didn't have paper wrists we would have so many more points and still be in the FA Cup. It must be soul destroying for the rest of the team.

Unless Sissoko plays in a 3 man midfield then the fluidity in the team is affected by his presence, and not in a good way.

=================

Spot on on both counts

We played well and had some great combos, inter changes and actually bamboozled them at times

Also, on your second point - that's the most painful thing. The two goals conceded didn't require anything from them other than a long hopeful ball for them to score. Not good at this level.

Cut to Wembley...City have an off day, and you spunk it 1-0 with a disputed Kane dive pen

Jose will be the fackin Messiah...and frankly if he can get your shower over the line he might be

I find it incredible that Jose seems to have no ability to actually improve our defence. He also chops and changes it all the time. Our CBs play for Colombia, England, Wales and Belgium so he should have something to at least work with. The organisation is a problem and that comes down to coaching. Sorry. I also. Find it extremely worrying that we play badly and lose. But also play well and lose. I mean, I wouldnt say we played well yesterday apart from theast 30 mins. Thats not acceptable.

He has to be sacked.

Absolutely right. West Ham in two games have had about six shots, and scored five goals. Most opposition never have to work to score their goals, they are just gifted to them by poor defending. Free kicks, penalties, set pieces are Spurs specialities at conceeding.

Howdee fella, you seem like a decent poster, not like that Ace and MK. I think they both have issues. Both very aggressive, and seem to want no opinion, other than their own.

Good job there's no peak Barcelona or Real Madrid, Culer, should be a cakewalk.

It makes me laugh when people say we might win the Europa League. I don't mean to be negative but we all know that isn't happening. Even if we got to the semi's or the final we would lose. It's what we do.
