Many thanks for the best wishes and I will treasure the apologies from enemies, old and new, hahaha!!
Much appreciated....thank you for the virtual hug Pags,
What times we are living in, such unpredictable times, times when some of us are facing our own mortality, dangerous times!
How many footballing friends, colleagues and legends have we lost in 2020, too many....me personally have lost footballing friends and team colleagues going back to my childhood.
Others suffering serious illnesses beside covid related, such as Matty.
But hopefully we can look forward to better times....one day a full house at Elland Road, now that is something to look forward to!!
I've had my vaccine a fortnight ago....I looked away, can't stand needles...how many more times are they going to show a needle going into an arm on TV?....I feel like fainting!
Wish everyone on here the best. Can't imagine how difficult it is to be going through health stuff during all this.
Anyone who gets the chance for the jab, take it. I surprisingly got it (only 27) by my local authority because they had lots left over so offered out to teachers so they didn't go to waste. Worrying that they had a big surplus, suggests a lot of those eligible didn't take up the offer.
I think a lot who are against it will end up getting it when they realise a lot of countries won't let unvaccinated people visit.
All the best to all our fans who are suffering these terrible illnesses. I am very fortunate to have good health ,but with Covid you never know, I have had my first jab as I am 74 and urge everyone to get it done when it is offered.
Do not quite get why the very people who are more likely to be negatively impacted by covid are the ones more likely to turn the vaccine down. To me that is very counter intuitive. Apparently there is a lot of misinformation about the jab, for example that it leads to sterility, not sure how that works as mostly older people should have been offered to date and no matter what your ethnicity, would you be still want to be doing the school run at 70?
There is a lot of religion based twaddle around this pandemic, back in March, I was working with a lot of asylum seeking young people, many of whom were Muslim, some refused to use hand sanitisers because they contained alcohol.
Everyone should get the jab but those seeking to spread misinformation for whatever reason should hang their head in shame because this nonsense is a danger to us all.

And High hasn't even made an appearance on this thread.
Wife got her jab this morning after booking on line yesterday.
Invite from NHS on the mat when we got home.
Sod’s law still exists
Firstly, best wishes to NJS and Matty and I hope you both continue your recoveries.
I’ve had my first jab, along with my hubby, and we get our 2nd end of April. Unfortunately I fall into the “old gittess” category now. I’ll be glad when Bannatynes opens again as I find it really hard to keep exercising alone at home.
Many thanks Maid...I feel a bit of a fraud getting all best wishes 'cos my cancer was two years ago now, Matty's is more immediate.
Me and my wife got our 1st vaccinations at the Allerton Medical Centre in North Leeds...the next day it was announced on the news, on that particular Saturday, more vaccinations were done on that day, in the UK, forget how many but a few thousands.
The organisation was superb, from the car park attendant to volunteers guiding us about, streaming us into the proper vaccination rooms, to awaiting doctors and nurses...I was very proud of the volunteers and doctors, administrators.
Like the 'old gittess' description btw, very good! haha
* Allerton Medical Centre held the record for the number of vacs done On that particular day in the U.K.
Just to clarify.
