Why do you ask, JohnnyLosAngeles? Do your parents live there or something?
Got the call for mine as I have a mild asthma, was surprised to say the least.
Had mine a month ago as I'm primary carer for my missus (I'm 57 and the council got in touch with me). The crazy thing was that my missus who is severely disabled and seems to be compiling an A-Z of what illnesses you can catch didn't get her jab until last week.

Don’t know what to say, you ok pal ?
Had mine a fortnight ago, mid 50's and to use Boris' language, "fit as a butcher's dog". Think it is because I am in an area where there are a lot of BAME people and they have been refusing it. Had AZ but my Mrs had Pfizer a week before me.

Yeah, im grand.
Was diagnosed last June and been having treatment since, im currently in remission and due to have my final round of treatment next month at which point I should be able to be diagnosed as completely cancer free.
In ten years time when people ask "do you remember where you were when leeds were prompted?" I'll be able to make everyone uncomfortable when I say "lying in a hospital bed hardly able to move due to being pumped full of arsenic due to cancer" which will be fun... for me at least, other people will probably stare at their shoes
Bloody hell Matty. Dropping a serious bit of news there
mate. Glad you're doing alright. FWIW, your comments on here are always a good read and often bring a smile
to my face. Matchday threads in particular. Valued member of this daft bunch of people. Cheers
Great to hear you're recovering well, Matty...I've been wondering how you've been these past few months.
I've been in remission for 2 years now, had my treatment at St. James and Chapel Allerton hospitals.

Everyone has their own reasons I guess. They ge5 no argument from me.
We’ve lost a few in our area if York. I knew a couple of them quite well.
Also one of the fittest guys I know - 64, ex Paratrooper - caught it and ended up in icu. He beat it but three months later is still struggling to breath properly. Probably with him for life now.
I’d say get the jab but then again I’m 65 and thinking if I catch it then it could be the end - or like my mate it could just be the start of a long road to recovery.
din't realise we had so many old gits on here
