Not sure Maddison is a surprise. Would rather put Raphinha in there.
Not sure I have noticed Aurier being good so would have put James Justin there.

Was really tempted by Saka, could be him or Maddison but I think this was the obvious natural evolution of his game. Like Foden it’s clear the player he is going to become

I thought Maddison was a bit of a Siggurdson but done some good off the ball work to elovste his game.
Justin has played more games at LB
Pogba (if he stays)
Grealish (if we sign him)
Sancho (I have never seen him play)
Would put Soucek in, he came from nowhere.

Or the likes of Mount or Tielemans who were good players that have seriously stepped up a level this season
Salah. Top scorer in the league despite playing for a mid table team. How often do you see that?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lingard? Guys played like 3 games
GK - Meslier - Still had a few errors, but I thought he would either not play or be an absolute calamity from what I had seen of him.
RB - Cancelo - Had a nothing season in his debut year, but has been immense at times this season. Not just at RB but that is where he goes.
LB - Luke Shaw - Seems to have taken the signing of Telles as a challenge and played well from what I have seen.
CB - Stones is a fair choice
CB - Fofana - Wasn't really expected to have the debut season in PL he is, but injuries gave him an early chance.
CM - Gundogan, as OP says
CM - Ndombele - Didn't look like he would make it, far better 2nd season.
AT - Bamford - Thought he would get about 5 all season.
AT - DCL - First half of the season was on fire. Doubt he will sustain it, but we will see.
AT - Smith Rowe - Was beginning to worry injuries would kill his chances, but since impressing against City he has been the catalyst behind a mini revival, and no coincidence we have dropped back a level since he was shunted wide and then injured,.
AT - Barnes - Had signs he could be a top player when at loan with WBA in the Championship. Wasn't amazing in the PL when he came back, but has had a real breakthrough this season before injury.

Harvey Barnes is a good shout from the poster above.
Yeah I like Smith Rowe as a shout.
Fofana has been excellent but it’s not as surprising as the incredibly solid Dawson who sucked for a relegated Watford last year
19 year old centre back coming to the premier league and being excellent is more surprising than a 30 year old veteran cb looking good in a Moyes team, imo
Both good shouts though
I’m thinking, and this is just a guess, you are being a bit cheeky here Barry?
James Justin was meh last season and turned in some really good performances this season before his injury. I would have him in instead of Aurier.

I'm a bit surprised Spurs fans don't have Ndombele. Last season he rarely started and when he did he was hooked rather early without making much of an impact. Seemed to be a personality clash with Mourinho as well.
This season he has been your best player behind Kane and Son, imo. Played a lot more as well.
