Salah - he didn’t bite anyone
Suarez.
As good as Salah was he was in a fully functioning team, Suarez dragged a midtable side to a title race, was utterly bonkers.
Pretty close but Suarez was better to watch. Missed 5 games, no pens and 30 odd goals.
Arguably the best ever individual season the premier league has seen.
The better premier league season is clearly Suarez imo but if you're looking at all competitions then maybe you'd say Salah's CL goals give him the edge
Suarez.
Salah was scoring everything he hit that season. It was sensational but imo didn't have the same touch of genius/madness.
Salah was exploiting pace.
Suarez went on time after time to with barca to repeat the trick.
Salah has done well, brilliantly for his lfc career as well but has fallen of that first level which got him awards and at the same table as messi and Ronaldo.
Suarez. Best premier league season I can recall an LFC player having. Some of the goals were obscene. That dipping 40 yard half volley against Norwich
Suarez. Salah get slept on too much however I would say, if you stuck another top winger in thst Liverpool side that season, with mane, firmino and the rest of the team. They’d also get 30 goals plus.
Suarez is the more talented footballer and he was absolutely amazing to watch.
The run versus Man Utd which gave Dirk a tap-in was absolutely brilliant that properly announced his arrival and thereafter he was just incredible.
If Salah could finish half as well as Suarez he’d be winning the the golden boot every season.
Suarez. Salah had a great goalscoring season but Suarez gave more to the team in terms of his all round play. Probably would have broken the record too only for his hunger getting the better of him the previous season.
Insane goals

Suarez is one of those players who I don't feel gets the recognition he deserves due to being around in the Messi/Ronaldo era.
I think he is arguably the best centre forward of the last 20 years. Certainly in that discussion anyway.
Not in the season we're discussing but the goal he scored against Newcastle when he brought a long ball down with his shoulder and rounded the keeper was the best I've seen him score.
I think if Suarez stayed he’d be considered best player in the pl of the 10s.
Suarez missed 8 games, let Gerrard score 12 pens and still still matched your Shearers, Henry, Ronaldo's goals wise. was ultra creative and made his own goals at times too.
Also he was a little fuсker who is hilarious when he's playing for you but annoying as fuсk for opposition fans, which is fun.

Suarez for me. Probably top 3 with Henry 02/03 and Ronaldo 07/08
Suarez was an incredible player that had so much more to his game than just goals and assists. I'm not saying that's all Salah has, but Suarez's season then was superior in my opinion.
I think the quality displayed by both in the season was fairly similar. Maybe Suarez showed a little more influence. Personally I think it has to be Salah on account of him playing in Europe and helping Liverpool reach the CL final. I mean how can Suarez have had the better individual season without European football?

A little more influence?! A little! Blimey.
Their personal outputs were perhaps comparable but the influence on others isn’t remotely comparable imo. Suarez increased the level of the players around him. Individually and collectively, we were infinitely better with him in the team.
I’m actually someone who believes Salah’s overall contribution is slightly overlooked due to prolific output - he’s easily dismissed as a goals man. But to compare him to Suarez is way too far.

Although it is a good point in regards to CL but then again Suarez didn't get the chance to play in a team as good as Salah did, especially in the CL. We had good midfield with Gerrard dropped back in his latter years and Coutinho playing behind Suarez, Sterling and Sturridge who all get overlooked when people say things like Suarez dragged a midtable team to competing for the title but we had a poor defence and goalkeeper.

Yes I may have undersold Suarez's influence in that team, which could be argued is a poorer team than Salah's.
I think Liverpool fans are underselling Salah in that season too; scores in 24 games compared to Saurez's 18, scored more goals vs the bigger teams, and yes being involved in Europe and scoring 11 goals in that competition when Suarez didn't take part makes a big difference to this question for me.
Salah should be additionally commended for doing all this in his first season from another club in another league. Suarez didn't do this until his third season.
