It was obvious from minute 1

He did in the previous two games, when he engineered victories for Spurs over Arsenal.

You cannot win them all. Today was just a bad day at the office. Not like lots of the previous managers ever won at the Emirates. That`s like one win in about 20 odd visits now, may be more.

Yeah, but didn't you also think it was obvious for minute one that it weren't working? Shouldn't the manager see that as well?

I will admit I wouldn`t have started Doherty. But name me a manager that gets everything right in every game. There simply isn`t one.

Sometimes the players have to take the blame, and not just blame the manager. Nearly every player today severly underperformed. Looked they didn`t fancy it.

Its not the fact that we lost. The performance was embarrassing really.

For 80 mins it was another tragic Brighton/Wolves performance yet despite that they needed 2 very fortunate goals to beat us.

At the death we finally put a bit of pressure on (with 10 men) and they looked awful. Which begs the question where was that earlier in the game?

The players looked like they needed help from the manager when it was obvious very early on that they were failing to get any control of the game. OK, get to half time not losing, but the one thing the players can't do is reorganise in a way to give some sort of platform so they can perform better.

I notice that you admit that the manager got it wrong.

Jose sets them up defensively, especially away from home. By the time we went down to 10 we had nothing to lose and went for it. Jose won’t release the handbrake away from home. We will get utterly buttfacked in the LC final.

I said Jose got picking Doherty wrong, but he cannot be blamed for the abject performances of most of the team, Ndombele, Hojberg, Bale, Kane, etc.

But when most of the team is not performing then surely you blame the manager?

Mourinho post-match interview:

"If the players don't do better it is because they can't do better"

It's like he thinks his job is to select eleven players and if it doesn't work, it's because the players aren't good enough.
These are the words of a manager that is used to a squad of expensive world-class players at his disposal. This is why he isn't, and never was, the right man to manage Spurs.

It was very clear what the issue was and any serial winner should have sorted this, not Doherty but the fact that Bale was not tracking back and helping him out, should have been sorted at halftime

I didn`t delete it at all. For some reason it has been pulled. Honestly what was in it to get it taken down? Obviously one of the bullies must have requested it taken down. You will have to ask Admin. There was nothing in at when I was last on it, that could make it remotely in danger of getting taken down.

I can only assume somebody has posted something offensive.

Ted I didn`t delete the article. I don`t think you can anyway, once it is up. You can change the title, but you cannot delete. Admin must have pulled it. You will have to ask him.

Worst game I’ve seen Hojberg play.

That penalty was a joke - not just that it wasn’t but just everything about it! That he was spooning it so far wide🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I turned off in disgust at full time so I've only watched the penalty in real time and the analysis that was given while the VAR was having a look.

I thought it looked unlucky (as he messed up the shot) but nailed on as Sanchez played the man not the ball why are people now doubting it was one?

It was controversial. You could argue the play had ended once his shot had been sliced and clearly missed, then the contact happened. Not a pen IMO.

It is what it is, chaps. A final for them as they have only Europa league to play for. Almost everyone, bar Lamela and Moura, had an off-day. Sonny leaving early didn't help.
They played out of their skin, and I fully expect them to disappear for the season, except in Europa league.
My stream not oly lagged but it fkn dropped when Kane just scored and I thought we had equalised! It came back up mins later and I thought wtf? 2-1?

Then the commentator said Spurs had a shot off the bar and a disallowed goal after going a man down!

Never mind, Arsenal played to their plan and won their cup final.
We don't seem to have plan B.
