My sister who's 31 has just been given a vaccine appointment for the weekend. She's not a key worker and has no underlying conditions. Bizarre.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it may be something to do with how the jabs are stored because they have to throw them away if they are unfrozen and then not used. A lot of jab centres are half empty too i've heard so they probably want to ramp all numbers up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's the only possible reason we could think of tbf

My mate (no ULHC) got jabbed about 8 weeks ago because he went to the centre with his missus and they just offered him one by chance... they said if he didn't have it they'd just have to throw it out due to the freezing process.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shut up Robb you melt
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh just f*ck off you pathetic little troll, we're trying to talk seriously about this jab which could help defeat the pandemic and all you can do is be a tw@
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now now Robb calm yourself, if you wanna be taken seriously stop lying 🤥

Do you know why we are so slow with this? UK jabs the population of Ireland in two weeks. We have done 10% of the country in about 2 months. Surely its not going to take 2 facking years in the Republic to get this sorted?
Pubs been closed for a year now and wont open till mid summer.
They cant do anything right, they went too lenient over christmas and now they go to the other side of the spectrum.

I’m hearing certain boroughs/councils in London have massive surplus of vaccines so could be that.
I’d just say to everyone try the app everyday.

It is just typical Ireland trust me. Looking to do everything on the cheap.
The shysters have committed to 80% of all adults having one jab by June
If as I expect they fail miserably at this there will be uproar and that will be the end of people following restrictions
Had mine in Feb, Oxford one, slight shivering in the night thats all, 2nd jab next month

On holiday in Spain one year, me and my mate took a pedalo out and went to Africa.
By the By, its great we are out of Europe and don't have to share with our French and German cousins 😀 Its all going so well
Had my Astra Jab 3 weeks ago and was missing in action the next day.
Felt feverish and weak and spent the day in bed. Good as rain the day after that.

Won’t be long junction, I tried yesterday no joy, tried again this morning and sailed through, it’s letting you book both jabs too, it works out the date for 11 weeks time.

Well we can’t gloat too much as we’ve had way more deaths and our economy is way more f*cked, but that’s for another thread.
I had the first dose of Astra Zenica a couple of months back, the jab was painless, didn't even feel it, then had some very minor pain on that spot for a day or two, and a splitting headache that night... different from a normal kind of headache but it went by around noon the next day.
I've got serious needle phobia. I pass out every time one comes near me. Sometimes I then have an actual fit after I've passed out
I'm 38 and generally not a princess but I cannot handle them, it's completely irrational.
I'll get the jab, but this whole thing is like a slow countdown to a day of hell.
Had mine this morning but she put it in my leg.
Pfizer killing now.
