L. Hamilton held on to the end - great win
Bahrain GP - Engine manufacturers standing:
Mercedes (7 wins) 2009, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020. 2021
Ferrari (6 wins) 2004, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2017, 2018
Renault (4 wins) 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013
Wow! Fantastic race!
Get in Lewis

Yea he was
Was silly where he let him back through to
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed. Should have let him back elsewhere
Hamilton won due to going off track most of the race. Surely that is unfair even though I am a Hamilton fan.
All 4 wheels have to go off track.
Fine margins.
They need to be clear on the track limits.
The drivers didn’t think there were any
The commentators seemed to think it was only if you gained an advantage
Race control seemed to ignore them until the final few laps.
It’s either allowed or it isn’t
Boris Hamilton was doing that when he was racing by himself gaining advantages and even said he was doing it all race lol and then Verstappen overtakes him the same way Hamilton was taking that corner most of the race and has to let him through lol.

The stewards told him to stop doing it and he did. RedBull told Max to do it too.
If you keep doing it, you get a warning flag, then if you don't listen, you get a 5 second penalty.
Helps to understand the rules
MUDD the stewards should have warned him like 20 laps earlier.

Verstappen his own worst enemy at times, think Hamilton will win today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well well well
Definitely poor that they allowed Hamilton to do it for so long before warning him and then Verstappen is the one who gets the impactful penalty
If Lewis hadn’t have been doing that all race Max would’ve cantered home
There are no track limits when I go off at Turn 4. There are limits when my rival goes off at Turn 4.
There's no way the officials will cross Mercedes and Hamilton. Everyone else gets it in the neck whilist that dullard talks about fairness in his monotone robitic zero charisma voice. F1 died as a competitive sport 20 years ago.

There are quite a few words there Bumble that are undeniably correct. Eg there's, way, no, his. But taken as a whole, it's wrong. I don't need me F1 champs to be as good at speaking as they are at driving.
And I'm sure the stewards do dare to punish Mercedes /Hamilton
Got to love the Hamilton haters on here.
Not really hating by pointing out an obvious stewarding bias today, whether deliberate or not.
Had Lewis been warned very early about his line he would’ve been out of contention very early instead he used it to keep ahead and the moment he was overtaken by doing same thing he had spent 75% of the race doing then the stewards react.
Was poor. I would say same thing had it been other way round.

Exactly.
Hamilton isn't remotely likeable either. A preachy Diva hypocrite happy to go on about climate change whilist blasting through the sea in a powerboat around Monaco harbour🤢🤮
Were you guys actually watching the race? Most of the field were ignoring track limits on turn 4. Horner actually radioed Max to do it because he could see the advantage BOTH Mercedes drivers gained from it.
I suggest you go back and count how many cars flounced the rules and how few (if any) black & white flags were issued.
This isn’t a conspiracy it’s just the FIA once again being vague in how they’ll enforce the rules.
If they wanted to “help” Lewis wouldn’t they have let him continue missing turn 4? Instead they radioed in to the teams and warned them to cut it out.
The rule says you can't leave the track to gain an advantage.
Leaving the track to overtake an opponent, especially when there are no other cars near you, couldn't be a bigger breach of that rule.

Facking autocarrot doesn’t even know my own meme.
In the end Verstappen cost himself the race he could still have taken Hamilton a short while later but shot his load way too early.
Great drive by Sir Hamilton though. Lando Norris was really pushing the McLaren to its limits. Should definitely be in Mercedes sights that lad.
it was a good first half of race and a raace saved by action at the front while the rest entered the usual full on fuel and tyre and enginer managing mode.
This is not racing. lets be clear.
It was enjoyable, dramatic, the early part had plenty of action. but if hamilton had have been 10 seconds behind verstappen and both were settling it wold have gone down as a dull affair i nthe end.
Peoepl need to realise that there are no nice F1 drivers. that are all hateful individuals.
Alonso - massive cheat and nasty sort. now as he is returning he has gain some sort of mysique?
Raikkonen - one of the most ingnorant and condesending people on the planet. hangs round long enogh and becomes a cult figure somehow
The list goes on and on.
Verstappen is a dangerous nasty so and so and hamilton is one of the whiniest bit@hiest people ever.
The funny thing is that if you don't hate an F1 driver they must be terrible. Like bottas, seemingly the only thing he's done to upset anyone is not be quick enough to challenge hamilton.
They’re not there to be liked, they survive on technical skill and aggression
