Good stuff Lubo. We have our best win in many a year you'd think the board would be Manic.

I'd probably up KP and the man of the moment Stuey Dallas to 9s.

One of things that pleases me most is how strong we are at centre back now. We lose our captain , Paddy makes way and on come two class centre backs Struijk and Koch and seamlessly see out the game.

The team spirit and togetherness to stand up to the city onslaught and then still come way with a win with 10 men might just be the result of the season so far in the premier league.

It's a great day and one of the best in 40 years supporting the club.

Definitely Alioski's best game in the PL, not sure about for Leeds. Hard to compare against Championship teams when he was outstanding in some games. He was great in the first game v Arsenal too when Pepe got sent off. Joint top today for headers won along with Stones.

Costa joint top for tackles won along with Cancelo.

Can't complain at Dallas as MOTM or Llorente being up there.

Thought they were all great today.

Meslier.

Came and caught so much, didn’t punch anything.

Laid on the ball and took sting out game when it needed it. Then at the death released it for us to score.

It’s a 9 from me that performance. Big man in a big game atmosphere. Improving all the time.

Best result for many years, to win with 11 men would have been brilliant, but with 10 for 50+ minutes was magnificent.
Every player was on top of their form, a great day for every Leeds fan.

Alioski gets a fare bit of stick as our weak link in the team but today he had his best game in a Leeds Shirt, disciplined and created the winner so I was pleased for him and I think he has more than cemented his place in all our hearts as a Leeds legend not for being the most gifted but definitely for his effort and energy which are first class.

That David Coote, whether he’s the ref or VAR guy. S
Trouble follows him around. Always expect something slightly or massively controversial when he’s involved

Good assessment Lubo!
The more they showed the tackle, especially when they had the other angle, the worse it looked. Vinnie Jones made a career out of tackles like that, can’t do it today.
Cooper also lucky not to give away a cheap penalty for pulling or grabbing...but I feel Sterling would have stuck it in the upper tier anyway. City had a lot of this and that, but they were limited to very few good chances and we took ours. I’m a big fan of Stones, he had a lot of the ball, but your job is to defend and we’d just given you fair warning minutes earlier πŸ˜‚

Good assessment.

I feel for Coops and am slightly worried about his after match tweet. Not sure but it might just get him another game ban.

“ It is what it is! But make sure you F****N keep us down because boy are we coming back. Get that into you!!!!! My brothers are animals! MOT πŸ’™”

I thought we were a bit sloppy with the ball with 11 men - but city can do that to you - they press well and you’re feeding off scraps. But even so we still carried a threat. Without the ball we were superb throughout. Although the Stats show them having loads of shots, they were largely from distance, half chances, set piece scrambles. They rarely opened us up. Can’t argue much with the ratings. De Bruyne may not have played but there were too passes he’d be proud of today... Phillips to Raphinha for the one on one (why did he go to ederson’s right, he’s likely not scoring even if he gets past him.) and Alioski for the winner.

The Alioski pass was outside of the foot , curled and weighted to perfection. A thing of beauty.

Game feels defaulted as we had to drop our way of playing drastically. All players deserve 9 or 10. Did there jobs and won the game

Agree Lubo & I don’t want to get into a tit-for-tat over something as trivial as a female co-commenter.

Great win and one we should celebrate, just beaten the best team England with 10 men.

Dallas is surely a 12.5 today.

Llorente is one of those defenders for me whose effortless but the defence looks so much more structured due to his quality

He seems organised, calm and plays the ball out. Reminds me a lot of Stones. Now he is over his injuries we are seeing why he is in the Spain squad

Outstanding work to get Llorente and Raphinha for 36m-40m between them

If we get Koch fully fit you would suspect that’s our first choice with Cooper and Struijk (who has been superb) as back up. All of a sudden we look well set there for years

Interesting that he went for Struijk before Koch. Suggests he's looking at Llorente and Koch for RCB and Cooper and Struijk at LCB to me. Entirely possible Koch just isn't fully fit yet, and that was the reason, though.

I was wondering that too Lino

Could also be because Bielsa doesn’t want to play Koch for too long straight after injury

Who was it the other day he brought on as a sub early due to an injury then subbed off - Was it Rodrigo - and for that reason
