Strange comments from both managers. They sound like a couple of head cases.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What I thought when I read both of them too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think on Ole's part, it was just a strange analogy with linguistics maybe being an issue. It's pretty clear that the implication is that Jose should be discouraging his players from play acting and Son should be ashamed of his antics.

A slight half palm in the face with minimal force results in a twirling to the go round fall. a triple roll then of course no movement off the ground until VAR is complete when suddenly Son can run full speed no ill effects towards our goal and score. =
Pathetic just like Lamella
Joses just doing what he does best, totally deflected from them getting beaten and from the play acting. Everyone’s talking about Ole’s kids not being fed now
There’s play acting, which every team has players guilty of and then there’s staying down for 3 minutes to influence var and the referee while they’re making a decision over a finger brush on the cheek.
Son’s a very good player but he’s pathetic as a sportsman.
Not really, Pride. Everyone is still talking about them getting beaten and the play acting. This is just another thing to batter Mourinho with. It’s wonderful.
I honestly can't tell if Ole's comment was a pun on Son/son, or if it's just a coincidence.
And as for Son's dad, I for one will be a little disappointed if his name isn't actually Dad.
In fairness to Son, to roll all the way down to the Emirates Stadium and back again and then still have time to score a tap in is pretty impressive.

This is what Mourinho said: 'Sonny is very lucky that his father is a better person than Ole. Because a father, you have always to feed your kids, it doesn't matter what they do. If you have to steal to feed your kids you steal. I have told Ole what I think about his comments.'
He's lost the plot completely
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just watched that. Christ he’s lost it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The full quotes are even more bizarre:
"Let me tell you something. I am very, very surprised that after the comments that Ole made on Sonny, you don't ask me about it.
And I told Ole already this, because I met him just a few minutes ago. If it's me, telling that player A B or C from another club, 'If it was my son I wouldn't give him dinner tonight,' or something like that, what would be the reaction?
"It is very, very sad. I think it's really sad that you don't ask me about it. It's really sad that you don't have the moral honesty to treat me the same way you treat others.
I just want to say, Sonny is very lucky that his father is a better person than Ole, because I think a father - I am a father - you have to always feed your kids, it doesn't matter what they do.
"If you have to steal to feed your kids, you steal. I am very, very disappointed, and like we say in Portugal bread is bread and cheese is cheese, I told Ole already what I think about his comments."
Love it when Jose goes into kamikaze mode (as long he's not managing us of course)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So does Jose as he can use this story to deflect from another crap result and performance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it a case of meltdown or is he trying to put it back on ole on the fact that our players dive and do a bit of gamesmanship (like sadly every team these daysI don’t want to defend him,but is his comments aimed at defending his player, despite the fact he knows it’s disgraceful, and forcing it back on ole, who knows our players like others dive? I suspect that’s the angle. And to be fair he’s not wrong, we do dive, we do take the piiiss, but likely not any more than the other 19 teams in the division.
If so, Jose, why didn’t you just say it more obviously. Not like you to be coy..
So, is Son going without food for a few days, or not?

This would suggest that United are very poor at influencing referees. Given that only 4 teams have a worse record for net decisions going against them from incorrect VAR calls

Oh god, give it up already.
Although this is all a bit petty and pointless, let's go along with your sad little crusade a bit more.
So, what about penalties then ? Spurs, I think have had about 4 pens this season, and probably around 8/9 over last two seasons. I am sure I read quite recently that Utd have had something like 35/40 in the same period.
Even if my figures are off ( and I really can't be bothered to look it up ) the shear amount Utd get compared with more of less every other team in the world, tells me everything I need to know.
I have literally watches Rashford, Martiel, Penandes actively looking for any sort of touch and then crumble to the floor like they have been shot. Penandes actually deliberately ran into the Granada defender to get, yet another penalty last week.
This tactic is employed in every game.
So for you, and everyone else connected with a team that cheats as a second nature, to react as if "how dare anyone cheat us on the pitch" as so full of double standards, it is breathtaking. It's like saying " do they not know who we are. You can't give a decision against us. We are Utd"
Ole with his I wouldn't feed him remarks is, frankly pathetic, and just typified the arrogant, we are better than anyone else attitude your clubs exudes all the time.
