Personally I can see no valid reason to postpone this game. If people prefer to watch the funeral instead of the match that is their prerogative. The funeral will not be broadcast on Sky Sports who will just broadcast some re-run of a Champions league or something similar.

I think probably the kick off will just be delayed for an hour or two. There’s no other game scheduled on sky until they show Norwich hoping to clinch promotion at 19:30

Let's hope you're right DJ, was looking forward to this game and 3 more points

U23s playing some nice football. 1-0 up at half time with a goal from Austin Samuels.

U23 game finished 4-0 with 2 goals for Samuels, 1 for Corbeanu and 1 for Hesketh. There is some real talent in that squad. The one that impressed me most was Sadou Diallo. He wears the same number shirt as Neves and seems to have modeled his game on the senior midfielder. Calm, unhurried, comfortable on the ball and spraying accurate passes out in all directions, he absolutely dominated the midfield for Wolves.

He’s been out injured for a while Diallo but does look good now. Strong lad for his age. A player we picked up from the Man City academy

Been moved to an 8.15 pm kick off

Surprised the kick off has become as late as 20:15 but it fits with the sky schedule who were just going to be showing repeat programmes from that time. Tv rules on these things

Still says 3pm on the sky sports website so if it has been moved to 20.15 no-one has told Sky!

Neto to have surgery, real bad luck for him as I assume he may have played in Euros

Pedro Neto is out for six months with a knee injury. Having surgery later this week.

Devastating for him, misses the Euros. And yet another injury blow for Wolves #

On a totally selfish note if he's out for 6 months he won't be moving pre season

Well that's just bloody marvelous eh?
If Neves is not available Nuno is surely going to be forced to give either Otasowie or Vitinha a chance. I hope to God he does and we don't see Moutinho and MGW in the middle.

Alternatively he could put Kilman in and move Saiss to the midfield with Moutinho.
On the other hand, from what I saw in the U23 game today, he could do worse than give Diallo a shot.

We really are down to the bare bones now. With Jimenez, Neto, Neves, and Jonny out that’s four of our most important players. Hopefully at least Boly will return. Suspect for Saturday we will see;

Patricio
Saiss, Coady, Boly
Semedo, Dendoncker, Moutinho, Ait Nouri
Traore, Jose, Podence

I think that will not be far away for sure. I would prefer to see Vitinha instead of Dendoncker but I doubt very much that Nuno will agree.

If the rumours of takin up the option of vitinha are accurate then you would imagine he'd be getting minutes
