Bury the fallout from the Superleague announcement with a Jose sacking.

Seems like the super league is funding his payout

Hopefully he is in breach of contract by refusing to take training and receives diddly squat for his awful tenure.

It would be the best conclusion for everyone. Jose redeems himself a little, Spurs save money, and we have more chance of winning in the cup final

Yeh no way spurs sack someone 5 days before a cup final
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But if Jose won the cup it would have made it harder to sack him.....
Would be ironic if he was sacked for refusing to train the players when he hasn't been doing that for months...

Harsh!!
Wonder who else is gonna be a casualty of this
Joe Hart to have his contract terminated after his social media team posts something condemning the ESL
That would be the most mourinho sacking ever.. getting himself sacked for a massive payoff and then trying to make out he’s making a stand against the super league
Ryan mason taking over
Who the fack is that
I had a feeling he looked dead and buried during the Everton game. It cut to Levy when we went behind and he was sat there head down scribbling away. The super league rumour sounds at the moment as though it could be people joining the dots up. We'll see. It's certainly not the sole reason he's got the boot
Anyway, that's cheered me up this morning.

The timing is odd - week before the final and with no replacement lined up. Makes me think that this wasn't planned and that it is the result of something new that has happened (ESL).
Only guessing though, and doubt we'll ever truly know
Because I can guarantee that Ryan Mason wasn't top of the list of new managers!
Athletic saying one of the reason he's gone is they were worried about the fans coming back into the stadium and booing
For some reason I think that'll still be on the the cards
So if Jose refused to take training that's a breach of contract meaning minimal payout? LOL
Remember when a year ago we all convinced ourselves that Joao Sacramento was the new messiah in world football and going to lead us to the promised land?
Well.

Wahl the super league super fan went to bed with a smile on his face last night only to wake up to this
Levy in club statement: "Jose is a true professional who showed enormous resilience during the pandemic. On a personal level I have enjoyed working with him and regret that things have not worked out as we both had envisaged. He will always be welcome here."

Dead man walking. Levy didn't need an excuse to kill him off early. But he may of got one anyway.
