I hope when you say threatened you mean began.

Shame, I was not against the idea of a European super league replacing the champions league.

I feel this was killed by threats and whipping up a crowd from the likes of Sky. Not to mention governments getting involved when it's none of their business.

At the end of the day, it's just a new cup competition. No club wanted to leave the domestic league but it was portrayed like that.

The Champions League and Europe League could still continue. Clubs should be entitled to utilise their brand however they want and create a new competition f they want.

Oh well, back to the corrupt FIFA and UEFA then.

Not surprising it's the non-American owned clubs pulling out. The Americans are the ones who have pushed this the most to imitate their own sports' leagues. Hopefully Spurs see sense next.

Maybe it was a publicity stunt to get UEFA to increase the prize money like they said today to 6-7billion

Protests need to continue until these parasites are out of the club. Nothing stopping them trying this again at a later date at the moment
