Got a bad feeling it's going to be Sarri the Smoker, Howe or Benitez.

Given where Levy’s head is right now it will probably be George Graham
Once we get past Nagelsmann and Rodgers who probably won't be attainable, then you wouldn't trust Levy to pick a good one. The guy has no footballing clue.

It has to be someone who plays progressive football. I want to enjoy watching spurs. Yesterday's second half is the most I've enjoyed we mauled United.
My priority is in line with most, Naggelsmann and Rodgers are the top targets but both are difficult to get.
Potter is my backup option. I am wary of his lack of top level coaching, but I am not worried about him not being respected by the squad or a big enough name. He seems like he would bring together some team spirit, his background is very impressive from his degree to his time in Sweden. He strikes me as someone who would adapt well to the bigger challenge.
I think we would probably be a bit naive under him and lose games we dominate but imo he would do a good job at reversing the damage Jose did.
I have ZERO faith in Levy to do the right thing/ make a good decision

If I was a professional manager, I wouldn't touch spurs with a bargepole
In fact, tell a lie. I would cos I know levy would make my job impossible, sack me and off I sail into the sunset with a nice payout
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think many owners/chairmen will touch Levy with a bargepole either and they will have to negotiate with him if he wants their managers or players. That's why I'm worried it could be someone currently not employed in the PL, other than Nagelsmann who will be hard to get anyway.
What about Peter Bosz? Surely he fits the bill with his attacking and pressing style of play. Also out of a job.

Sounds like you and I are on completely the same page. My 1, 2 and 3 were Nags, Brendan and Potter in that order. It is all about finding an antidote to the poisonous anti-football we've had to suffer for the last 18 months or so. All three do that.
I'm with you on Potter too. Sure, he doesn't have the draw to bring big names in but neither did Poch when he joined. If Kane finds Potter an underwhelming choice, fine. He can leave at the right price. No manager should be chosen at the behest of any one player. As soon as he gets a club purring and heading in the right direction those same top players will begin to get a sniff and want to be a part of it. Potter also seems unafraid of giving youth a chance.
For me he's the unfancied football man's choice.

Potter would be a very good choice. You can see in their games he is a good coach. Watch their build up play and all the players know were to position themselves to receive the ball and move into space.

ten Hag not even linked
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was 33/1 yesterday. Now 8/1. He has been heavily backed today.
I think a lot may depend on Kane.
If he is determined to leave then we could bag the money and begin a rebuild with a lesser name like Potter.
If Kane stays we need more instant impact and i do not think the likes of Potter/Parker/Mason cut it at all.
For me Nagelsmann, Ten Hag or as a left field choice, Adi Hutter from Frankfurt. He has got them playing attractive football and has them in the top 4. Only Bayern have scored more goals and he lead them to victory over Bayern a few weeks ago.

I love Kane, but we can't be, say, appointing Southgate to appease him when it's clearly the wrong choice for the club.
I'd be happy with anyone who plays good football and can get me on my feet. So probably JN, ETH or Potter. There's something about Rogers ... I don't think we'd get on.
At least we can be put out of our Nagelsmann misery soon. German clubs tend to announce stuff way in advance so if Bayern have got him, we'll know about it sooner rather than later.
RE Rogers, the whole 'open the envelope to see who I think is shhhhhit' thing just sticks in my mind. I suspect he's a total snood and would rub a few players and most of the fans up the wrong way.

Completely agree about Southgate. If what's rumoured is true then Kane has way too much power. No decision should be made to keep him sweet. All decisions should be made for the good of Tottenham Hotspur. If selling for 150M+ is a painful necessity for a rebuild then so be it.
But disagree entirely about Rodgers. I can't see what you're seeing about him not getting on. He seems perfect to me. Quietly goes about his business, similar to Poch. He has been flattered by Leicester's brilliant recruitment system though. He's still getting the best out of them though and that's all you can ask.

Think you’re right. The two names being touted for Bayern are Nagelsmann and ten Hag, who has a history with them (he coached their second team a few years ago). Whichever they go for, I’ve a feeling we’ll get the other. We certainly won’t be announcing before Bayern.

That's interesting. I didn't know about his affiliation with Bayern. I don't think that increases our chances of getting JN but it does give me greater confidence that Ten Hag might just be a shrewd move. If Bayern are considering him, he can't be bad.
Just been looking at the odds for next Bayern manager. Favourite is obviously Nagelsmann, but second favourite is none other than Jose Mourinho
