Not sure why everybody thinks Spurs are going to get Nagelsmann. What makes Spurs so special that he would choose Spurs say over Bayern?

I think some of our supporters need to temper their expectations a tad.

Klinsmann? That's a weird choice. Why would you go for him. He's got virtually no pedigree as a coach.

Here's an interesting quote about his time at Bayern...

"Following Klinsmann's time with Bayern, Bayern team captain Phillip Lahm wrote in his autobiography that Klinsmann's tenure with the club was a "failure" and that Klinsmann's lack of tactical instruction required the players to meet before kickoff to discuss strategy."

Still think he's a wise choice?

There's a difference between hope and expectation Sandy. Don't talk to us lot about tempering expectation. You wrote the book on absurd dreams like winning the league. When we "tempered your expectations" you accused us of not being positive enough. Are you on a wind up here?

That doesn't explain what it is you see in Klinsmann that makes you think he would be a good fit other than being a club legend. We tried that with Ossie and it went badly wrong.

Alright fella keep your hair on. Just saying it as I see it. You lot think Spurs just have to click their fingers and managers and players will come running they won`t. Even Rodgers would not consider the job if Leicester get CL, and why should he?

Whoever Spurs get, let`s hope the fans welcome him a bit better than the previous manager, who was treated disgracefully by large portions of the fanbase before he had even managed one game.

Knowing our fanbase though, they will want any new manager out as soon as they lose a few games.

I supported Poch for four years until results started going really downhill. Most on this board didn't support Mourino for a single minute. Big, big difference.
