You’re so reactionary Sandy.

Before the game you genuinely felt that Spurs would win.

One game and a narrow 1-0 defeat later, virtually the entire squad should be sold.

City wouldn’t have won if Laporte was correctly sent off.

Sandy, with respect you keep saying this, you're not going to have a turnaround of even half a dozen players out that will raise the required funds to bring in the level of talent required?

Who do you think will buy all the guys you want rid off? And perhaps the next manager can get more out the current squad?

What do you mean only Lloris was good at the back. Toby was incredible today. The biggest let downs were Reggie and Son.

Your not going to see a massive turn over of players not in this financial climate that is unless you sell Son and Kane to one of the rich clubs.

Tottenham have very much missed the boat now. Three years ago you had a decent team but it just lacked the killer mentality. After Kane and Son the rest are just average.

We missed our chance to kick on under jol when he wasn't backed.
We missed our chance to kick on with Redknapp in charge and he wasn't backed.
We massively missed our chance under poch who wasn't backed.
we will never ever achieve anything with those owners in charge.
I'm sick of the lovefest for city as well they are the biggest cheats going on and off the pitch and achievement they make means nowt as far as I'm concerned bankrolled by a country who break every human rights law in the book in the pursuit of success.

I didn`t say that at all. Before the game like all supporters I hoped Spurs would win, and said I would be hugely disappointed if they didn`t.

That they didn`t turn up once again in a final has to be the final nail in the coffin for this set of players. It just happens to many times.

Accrington would have given City a better game than the current Spurs lot.

No manager will get any more out of this squad, they seriously are not good enough. Every big semi or final for the past five years, they have not turned up. At the very least you would have expected one performance in the past five seasons. But frankly they have been an embarrassment.

Need a bit more than that MK, Reguilion was awful again today, both our CBs need replacing, and the whole midfield in reality needs upgrading. If Kane goes then another striker will be needed. With money short it will take a while now to get back in the CL in my opinion, let alone win trophies.

Everyone thought Pool were crazy selling Suarez and Coutinho and it worked out brilliant for them so maybe Spurs selling Kane and Son might end up the same with that amount of money they’d get

Well we’ll never a trophy so not point thinking about that.

Reguilón is a excellent player just see his first half of the season. Just been poor since returning from injury.

Spurs biggest problem right now is a lack of identity, we need to get back to being a high pressing team again although that would mean even more players as this current squad aren’t capable of that.

CB, RB & CM with skipp and Sessegnon coming back means we can get rid of a couple extra squad players on top of the sissokos and Aurier types that have to go

As Sandy said it’s all well and good having the best striker in the world but you’re not achieving anything as a result of it, seems to be more of a hinderence and need to bolster the overall team

Kane does seem to be like Mario Gomez when he was at Bayern, scores buckets in league but in the big matches or cup competitions just never delivered time after time

Wholesale changes at the top at needed. Rumours were that Jose was sacked because he’d have received a huge bonus if he won a trophy. The lack of league form gave Levy the excuse to sack him fearful of having to explain to Big Joe why he’d only be able to fill the yacht up once this year.

Net Spend Trophy > Real Trophy

I agree.

Someone like Nagelsmann, a man manager would transform this team into a top 4 side again, with the addition of a left side CB and 2 full backs.
Far too long we have had some deadwoods in the side.

Coutinho nor Suarez impacted Liverpool like Kane does with SPurs

Did the pool ever sell Gerrard who did impact them like Kane does? No

This narrative is both naive and an example of people talking out of their arris

Disagree there Sandy and think that’s an easy excuse. There might be a billion pound gap in transfers between us and City but it’s 11 vs 11 on the field and we looked like a terribly coached side, and have done for well over a year. Mourinho spent his entire reign training them to be wary of the opposition’s strengths, and this is the result. The players haven’t a clue how to attack, but put say, GLC in the City side, Son in the Bayern side or Moura back in the PSG side and they’d be flying, as they’re all excellent players. A good coach can get a lot of our squad, but for me this is the product of having creativity and possession-based football coached out of them for 18 months.

The sad thing is that City were actually there to get the surprise win against. They outplayed us and for all their shots their conversion rate was terrible. If we had made more of our counter attacking opportunities which were shocking from out point of view, we could have snatched a win. Mason blew it as well with his team selection and subs.

Skipp and Sessignon are both Championship players at best. Going to need a big more than those two.

Yes I put that

“ CB, RB & CM with skipp and Sessegnon coming back”

Plus they are both excellent players and will go into to have decent premier league careers at worst
