I like Potter but show some ambition. How many seasons has he been a prem manager? Or we saying now that experience or pedigree doesn't matter.

It is possible to get a manager that plays progressing football that also has a history of winning things. It isn't mutually exclusive although that's what Jose would have us think.

I’m pretty sure we’ve should’ve come to the conclusion that winning stuff else where means nothing
----------------------------------------------------------------------
After Jose I have come to the conclusion that most Spurs on here just want pretty football above anything. Above winning trophies too. Alot on here when the thought of Jose potentially winning the league cup would have been disgusted. Some of our fans on here are a joke. LOL

I wouldn't mind seeing Joachim Löw given ago. Has won World cups and euros with Germany.

Realistically I’d 100% take Potter. If he could bring Bissouma and Lamptey with him that would be a bonus!

Bissouma is a Arsenal fan and wants to play for them. More fool him. Google it.

I just want to enjoy watching football again after 18 months of Mourinho and the last 6 months of Pochettino.

Success is secondary to entertainment IMO.

To be honest Don, I don`t really care who the next manager is. It will be tough for any new manager, whoever it is. Spurs are just not able to compete with the financially doped clubs now. The gap will only get bigger over the years. Joining the ESL would have been good, but it seems most fans didn`t want it. But for Spurs to really progress, it would have helped immensely. The clubs with a bottomless pot of money have a distinct advantage over the rest of the competition, and it will only grow bigger.

I shall just continue to go to WHL, I shall not protest against the Board, Daniel Levy or any manager. Frankly I just want to go and watch a game of football, and will leave all the decisions around who owns or manages to the club to the people in charge, whoever they are. Not particularly interested in the goings on behind the scenes or the financial side of the club.

No way. He’s been an international manager for far too long, and his star is on the wane in that field. We need someone on their way up not down, lost count of the amount of times I said that was the mistake of hiring Jose. Don’t want some old hand who’s best accomplishments are behind him, want someone with obvious potential and the hunger to make Spurs the club where he makes his mark.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree. We need drive and commitment.

That's why someone like Gerrard would be a pointless pick. A few good seasons and he'd leave for Liverpool in a heartbeat.

The poor football under Mourinho would have been tolerated had the results been better.

Fans just want to see nice winning football that will both entertain and win trophies. It's not like you can't have one without the other. We may have won stuff with Poch with nice football had Levy supported him properly.

How about Favre, I know he is getting on a bit but wouldn't be a bad shot?

Jamie O'Hara has been saying on Talksport how Potter would be a downgrade on Mourinho. We absolutely have to go for Potter now. This is the best indication yet that he is the right choice.

Jamie O`Hara like most pundits talks absolute rubbish. Does anybody still listen to that clickbate radio station. Alan Brazil should have been put out to pasture years ago. He seemed to be more interested into turning listeners into alcoholics than actually talking sensibly about football, the last time I listenened to him about three years ago.

If I ever have Talksport on it's only as background noise. It's still entertaining to hear how thick people like O'Hara are with some of the utter crap they spout.

After Sissoko, Aurier, Doherty I don't want any more Arsenal fans wearing our shirt. Yes Bissouma is a good player but there are plenty more DM's out there.
