No club can afford him this summer. He’ll have to stay, he’s not the type to down tools either so he’ll have to wait for his dream move.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Euros will buy us another season with Kane I think. They'll keep him distracted for most of summer whilst the club either sorts itself out or creates a circus.
Next Summer IF we have a bang average season I can see him leaving. Although World Cup would be coming around.
£90m is a sensible bid, if we assume that the glazers have no intention of actually buying kane, but just want to look as if they care about appeasing the fans.
People saying Kane is 28/29 and questioning his value. Kane isn’t 28 until the end of July. Easily 4/5 seasons left in him. I have no doubt whatsoever he will retire the PLs greatest ever goal scorer.
Spurs definitely wont even consider entertaining any bid for anything below 120 million in my opinion and I severely doubt anyone will pay that much for an injury prone 28 year old.
I've no sympathy for Kane either. He chose to sign a new contract not so long ago so cant blame Tottenham for wanting a massive fee if he did want to go.
Its a bit like Zaha really - he's wanted out at crystal palace for the last year but prior to that he only recently signed a new contract. I if were those players I would have not signed and let the contract run down to a year left. Would have much better negotiating power with the club that way.

Painful for Spurs fans but i think it might be in their best interest to sell, negotiate that up above 100m.

Not much, we beat the best to get to the final. We were fortunate to get a team with such little European pedigree. Doesn’t play down the achievement in winning number 6.
Put that into context of how relevant Spurs are. We were competing for our 6th EC. You had got to your first final.

yes selling a home grown player worth in goals and overall play closer to £150m, who also happens to be your only striker and best and most important player by quite a margin would be in the clubs best interest with still 3 years left on his contract.

His ankle issues are completely exaggerated, this season in fact he hasnt missed that much at all and im sure he would be better managed at another club.
At City for example he would score a scary amount even missing a good chunk of the season.
He has the game to adapt even with injury problems to still be very good and valuable in his 30s.

have spurs not won the 6th most trophies than any other english team? quite some feat considering the very dry last 30 years. City only have 1 more and Chelsea 5 more and when you see the 10-20 years those teams respectively have had it shows that spurs have been very relevant throughout history.
and even now theyre always in the conversation now and the infrastructure built has really elevated the club to an elite level whether you want to wum or not.

His peak has been hit, yet he still tops the goalscoring and assists charts, despite apparently missing lots of games and only playing half a season. Right, gotcha.
He'll stay this summer then after a year of Potterball will sign another 6 year deal.
We'll be top 4 regulars, but won't sign anyone in the 2024 summer, by then Potter has had enough and it all goes tiiits up. Kane will then be too old to move.
I imagine this is levy's plan anyway.

Kane is your complete professional, and I would expect him to be playing at the top level well into his 30s, possibly even beyond 35. Lots of the top strikers do. Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Cavani, etc. In fact Lewandowski has become even better, even though he is fast approaching 33. Messi still banging them in at 33.

He’s worth about £60 million tops. That’s only cos he’s English though.
He’s basically Patrick Bamford with a hair lip.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
60 mill
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eddie don`t worry he is a Wolves fan, their teams have not been relevant for 70 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A Spurs fan saying this
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs have won 14 trophies in the past 70 years, without the need to be financially doped either. So your post was idiotic to say the least.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tell us in what way Spurs are relevant?
When you last when the title it was on black and white telly. When you last won the FA cup DVD’s hadn’t even been invented, and the Internet was in its infancy. The last time you won the EC/CL.........or maybe a UEFA Cup/EL?
But it’s ok, you won a league cup 123 years ago
----------------------------------------------------------------------
123 years ago, the league cup hadn`t been invented for another 60 years. What a pillock.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
have spurs not won the 6th most trophies than any other english team? quite some feat considering the very dry last 30 years. City only have 1 more and Chelsea 5 more and when you see the 10-20 years those teams respectively have had it shows that spurs have been very relevant throughout history.
and even now theyre always in the conversation now and the infrastructure built has really elevated the club to an elite level whether you want to wum or not.

Painful for Spurs fans but i think it might be in their best interest to sell, negotiate that up above 100m.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yes selling a home grown player worth in goals and overall play closer to £150m, who also happens to be your only striker and best and most important player by quite a margin would be in the clubs best interest with still 3 years left on his contract.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whose ankles are turning to dust, who regularly misses periods of the season. I think his peak has been hit and he's on the decline which is why i think this summer is the ideal time to sell.
That and Spurs desperately need reinvestment this could support.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His peak has been hit, yet he still tops the goalscoring and assists charts, despite apparently missing lots of games and only playing half a season.

People saying Kane is 28/29 and questioning his value. Kane isn’t 28 until the end of July. Easily 4/5 seasons left in him. I have no doubt whatsoever he will retire the PLs greatest ever goal scorer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He will be 28 when the transfer window opens.

Spurs need to reinvest at a position of great strength and should be in no rush or need to sell.
Kane is also a professional and still has a lot to play for at Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane is your complete professional, and I would expect him to be playing at the top level well into his 30s, possibly even beyond 35. Lots of the top strikers do. Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Cavani, etc. In fact Lewandowski has become even better, even though he is fast approaching 33. Messi still banging them in at 33.
