I'd rather they were going to investigate thousands of people chanting anti catholic songs in George Square in front of them

if they were chanting about jews or muslims it certainly would be getting investigated

I've seen a video of Leicester players celebrating on Saturday and it sounded just the same.

Exactly Ginger, Police need to act on any complaints and based on SM today it seems there have been loads!

Happy for them to be involved as will hopefully either identify those involved or clear them.

Some of the players must be hearing about what they are accused of singing though and find it hilarious. Joe Aribo only ever tweets and talks about his blessings from God and now he's at the centre of a storm about singing about the Pope.

Can you’s make your mind up ffs, is it fake or just we’re hearing different words to what’s actually being sung

The saddest part about all this is those lyrics weren't previously attached to the song but will be now. People will jump on it on both sides.

Thankfully we don’t appear to get that kind of stuff to such a degree in Scotland which begs the question as to why far more resource isn’t driven towards the tribal religious hatred we’ve “tolerated” for decades.

It’s the only wide spread hate issue we seem to suffer from.

Baffling really.

I can’t hear pope in it to be fair.

Can defo hear fluck, it’s just the 1 person who shouts it. I honestly think it’s that Firth who might just have made an erse of it.

Its very difficult to prove anyway, various studies show people hear and see different things to the same sound.

Unfortunately as ever the police could clear the club and find no wrongdoing and people will still be insistent it happens or they could decide they do hear it but then be unable to locate who it is for any action to be taken.
