Honestly, I think Varane is using us as a pawn piece to get a new deal. I'd rule him out.

Kounde might be the high profile target that can be attainable. Whether or not you think he's another Lindelof comes down to whether he can deal with stronger players in the PL.

I'm making a list of transfer targets right now. Hopefully, I'll touch base on the CB issue.

He's decent but I'm not really for signing players from Serie A anymore. Hit rate is very low in that league.

A team without a midfield is interesting.

And the only real difference to today and that team is you lose one of McFred for Kane

SMS in my opinion is better than mcfred combined and then you add in a second striker would be exciting

Playing one CM might be only way to stop Ole insistence on always playing it out from the back.

Plus a 4 man front line would actually be great to see and be interesting to see how opposition set up to counter the fact we had a 5 man attack basically

SMS is a better player than both but he's not going to be able to do the job of two midfielders himself, it's suicidal.

He isn't a defensive midfielder anyway. I still maintain he's better given a bit of freedom. For me he's at his most dangerous when he's in and around the box.
