Brighton might be easier on the eye now but points wide they’ve barely improved since Hughton left.

If I was Spurs I’d gamble on Bielsa.

Well SSN seem to think you’re talking to Bobby Martinez this week, what an appointment that’ll be!

Well we're a joke at the moment, so Mr Bean as manager will fit right in.

We should just get Poch back. If nothing else it would be a sign that the club under levy is actually learning from its MANY mistakes and isn’t quite as “tone deaf” to the reality of the shlt situation we find ourselves in. It’s time to stop pretending we are a big club simply because we have a fancy stadium/ training ground. We are a laughing stock who tried to sneak in via the back door into the ESL with no competition because actually fighting for it and showing some proper sporting integrity is “too much like hard work”.

Poch is far from perfect but he seems like a guy with integrity, football smarts and unlike many above him the Tottenham food chain fully understands “What Matters” & what needs to be done

This is an unprecedented time in the history of our club, as much as we all hate the fact.... Kane’s future, future transfers and the rebuild of a stale and unmotivated squad are all critical issues. There has never been a greater need for a guy like Poch who has proved he’s capability of a rebuild, has the trust of key players and most importantly is in a position to come back on his terms with all the cards in his favor

Get it done Levy and get your shlt together... The talk of Potter is facking joke. Kane, Son, Bale etc will simply laugh a guy like him out of the room.

Hugo Rodallega available?

For me it depends what situation Potter is walking into.
If he's walking into a well thought out plan for the next 5 years with Levy ceding footballing decisions to a well respected DOF and new scouting team then he has a very good chance of being successful due to the modern coaching techniques he uses and progressive footballing style.
On the other hand is he is walking into the same old same old with Levy being a control freak and chief idiot yes man Hitchen providing the "expertise" on player purchases etc then he has zero chance of success. In fact nor would a returning Pochettino, Ten Hag or anyone else for that matter.

The Mourinho experiment showed that the 'alpha' manager style is done. Potter is a British Poch - he has a strong philosophy and he seems to know how to motivate young players and foster a strong bond in a squad.

Poch should never have been sacked in the first place.

I don't see how you win back the spurs fans after the Jose appointment and the ESL disgrace by hiring a manager literally no spurs fan wants.

I'm hoping this is a load of bull but if it isn't, Levy will have the best stadium in the world with no one in it. Jeez, the Tottenham riots will come raging back.

Indeed. It still makes no sense why Levy thought it would work. The bald one is pretty clueless on footballing matters as shown by his awful history of managerial appointments.
Got lucky with Jol, Redknapp and Poch (didnt he want Van Gaal) the rest are utter cr*p

Shlt happens mate & we all make mistakes but Levy needs to show some facking humility for once..... There isn’t a better candidate out there given our specific circumstances..... This is not the time to be taking a punt...... Like I said, Poch isn’t perfect but he’s EASILY the best option to address our problems

The only crumb of comfort is that the bald one is taking his time unlike last time. Seems to be speaking to a lot of people which is good but hes a control freak which is bad doesn't know how to delegate likes many yes people at boardroom/technical level not good. oh well maybe he will surprise us

Brighton were 5th for expected points - the only reason they finished so low is because of

a) Matt Ryan being terrible at the start of the season (Brighton are 12th for actual points since he was dropped)

b) absolutely terrible finishing (40 goals from 54 expected goals)

Even if you don't believe in expected goals and therefore think this is all ballacks (which you'd have to have not watched Brighton all season to do so as it's pretty feckiin obvious that they're forwards waste all their chances)

Brighton are 12th for GD -the only team in the bottom 8 to not have a goal difference of at least -10. They're clearly better than their League position indicates

Had Lamptey not got injured earlier on I'm sure he would have provided more assists and a different dimension to their attacks overalls.

Potter is decent no doubt about it. I would prefer Bielsa at this stage as it would be hilarious to see the pain in the lazy fackers faces as they experience a Bielsa pre season They would be begging for Poch to return. Would be fairly short term though I imagine

Getting Brighton to have better underlying numbers than everyone in the League but City, United, Liverpool and Chelsea is amazing work from potter. He's a brilliant coach and it's obvious by watching them play.

Stuff like how they're 8th for goals allowed (3rd for expected goals allowed). Normally managers in the bottom half who play good football can't set up a defense for shiiite and they leak goals. But, whilst still playing great football, Potter has turned lower premier league squad into one of the tightest defenses in the League.
