Diving is no worse than a deliberate foul. All cheating is one and the same.
i think it is worse then a foul because if you stop a goal scoring opertunity its a red card...
and if you dive and create a goalscoring opertunity you are again tampering with the score and should be a red

Don't hear commentators praise players for diving. But you'll hear commentators praise players for kicking an opponent so as to stop their attack when they are in a good position to create an opportunity.
