3rd was by far the worst. Can kind of understand the 3rd if he didn't want to deflect the ball past his own keeper but that's really stretching it.
Second one he turned his back on the ball, while his keeper (or Kepa if you like) was unsighted.
I'm not a Kepa apologist by any means just because I have him on here, he should have done better with the first goal.
I'd say it was poor defending from Luiz as he should always look to get his body in the way of the ball but he could have had no idea that Kepa was unsighted.
It was poor positional play from Kepa as he left half of his goal completely unprotected but he could have had no idea that Luiz would let the ball go through so easily.
di maria looking like hes going to be playing left wing back against liverpool, seems to indicate both neymar and mbappe are gonna be starting
will be interesting to see if he moves salah back out to the right to go up against him or keeps him up top
All defenders make mistakes. Easy to pin on one person and haven’t watched the video but half the time I’d say mistakes come from others not doing their jobs.
VVD was appalling the first half of last season at Soton, I’d like to see how he’d do with Moreno beside him to see if he’s as good as is being made out now.
Every goal scored, to some degree, has to involve human error on the part of the defence. No goal is every truly 'unstoppable'.
VVD was fairly poor when he joined Liverpool too tbf
Agree though that it is largely a case of others not doing their jobs, he just doesn't fit in a defence that isn't well drilled. If it well drilled, he is the best defender in that defence, why he always looked amazing alongside Terry

Even 35 yard wondergoals are put down to a defender not closing the scorer down quickly enough.
tbf there are a few players who are virtually impossible to defend against, Messi, Hazard, David Silva, Sancho, Antoine Griezmann etc
yep, i see nothing wrong with that list
Apart from mentioning Sancho alongside Messi and David Silva after he's had about 2 months of form
use his full name, thats Bundesliga player of the month Jadon Sancho to you
His POTM Fifa card is still lower than a normal Franck Ribery card
Jovic is going to be sooooooooooooo good
I'm going to try and build my team around the 4 players I think have the most potential as of this moment
Milenkovic, Neuhaus, Rebic & Jovic
https://www.bundesliga.com/en/news/Bundesliga/who-is-florian-neuhaus-borussia-monchengladbach-germany-midfielder-517477.jsp
I wouldn’t put Rebic with the other 3 myself, offers a lot but not convinced he’s good enough technically to ever be a top winger or forward.
Although I did bring him into the league and sold him on cheaply before he had a couple big moves on here so possibly just me
I think he is one of those players that can make others around him play better, a la Giroud
Very handy squad player. Will probably end up having an Arnautovic style career.
So I think that I'm looking at...
Perin
Any one of Klostermann/Jedvaj/Elvedi
Milenkovic
Baumgartl/Andersen
Tagliafico
Rudy
Kampl
Coman (Sabitzer when back from loan)
Neuhaus
Rebic (or Forsberg or Coman)
Jovic
Hopefully Sol Campbell takes the Macclesfield job and fails miserably so he can stop blaming everyone else for not being the mayor of London or a football manager.
