Ralph Hasenhüttl would be a top appointment for Southampton if he goes to them, close to signing a 2 & 1/2 year deal

posted on 4/12/18

Can’t do worse than Hughes anyway!

he was awful, signings not much better

How dare Southampton bring in a young up and coming manager instead of one of Moyes, Allardyce or Bruce. Disgusten

That makes it worse

not really

Puel and Koeman over those three any day of the week for me

They brought Poch to the Prem too

They could be good to watch under Ralph, his Leipzig side were v kamikaze. Wouldn't surprise me to see them tap into Salzburg's squad

Your harsh on big Sam and Moyes. Big Sam has worked wonders with small teams before to get them results. And even Jose has been worse than Moyes at at United, who also saved West Ham last season.

I do think Moyes was harshly treated by Utd

Sam is a dinosaur tho

posted on 4/12/18

Salzburg have a pretty good squad, would be worth delving into

posted on 4/12/18

I don’t think Moyes was harshly treated really, just that Jose has been treated far too well, only because of who he is. They’ve been damned for saying similar things and have a similar style really!

Sam is a dinosaur but a dancing one, and one that gets results!

I guess the difference is that Jose has a ridiculous track record of winning things and Moyes doesn't, which has bought Jose some extra time. He's gone full final season at Chelsea though, seems like he's realised he'll have to get a move on to get himself sacked.

posted on 4/12/18

Which is fair to a point lstd but this is year 3 and other than managing to scrape a respectable second last season somehow and some second rate trophies he has no progress to really show for his time there and the ridiculous money spent.

He’s now saying they have to reasses top 4 target, he’s definitely asking for the sack. Don’t see where he’ll go next other than back to Inter or Portugal

posted on 4/12/18

I agree totally, if they want to move forward, he shouldn't be there. Regardless of finishing second, he's largely alienated their best players. Playing Fellaini and McTominay when you have Pogba and Fred is a joke.

Wouldn't surprise me if he went to the Bundesliga, and the best team in the country there is probably going to become available. Chance to win the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 before retiring with the Portuguese national team? Would be the first manager to win 6 titles in 6 different countries if he chose that path you'd have thought

Bayern wouldn't touch with a barge pole

posted on 4/12/18

They almost definitely would though, he won't struggle to get a job, just a case of which teams become available. Still the 2nd most successful manager of the past 15 years.

posted on 4/12/18

he wont struggle to get a job, it certainly wont be Bayern Munich

posted on 4/12/18

Bayern definitely wouldn’t touch him, agree with fan, no chance they would. They’re far too uppity for that. They wouldn’t just be refunding their fans they’d be paying them to suffer him! Add in they’re far too prudent to go for him as well.

Don’t see PSG touching him but wouldnt be surprised be more chance if Tuchel fails he might be seen as a better chance of CL. Could see him at Monaco, they have cash in the bank and nothing to lose if he goes there. Another Inter almost.

posted on 4/12/18

Also they wouldn't fund his mental spending

posted on 4/12/18

Can definitely see the point re their fans but wouldn't surprise me at all if they went after him tbh

Spending wise, don't remember him spending a lot at Porto, fairly sure his overall spend at Inter was fairly low too

Do think he's the wrong fit for Monaco though, don't think they have the funds to do anything but youth development though
