I've joined, but how does it work compared to normal FPL?

Good man

So as I understand it, rather than having budgets it mimics the NFL draft style where we all take it in turns to pick a player each. So instead of the normal FPL where everyone has similar teams with Haaland, Salah, Palmer etc there will only be 1 of each player in the league.

I’m assuming once the league is full it will assign a random order for the draft (currently set for Sunday at 6pm but open to change) number 1 gets the first pick and then so on. Once everyone has picked a player it then reverses order so whoever picked last in the first round gets to pick first in the second round.

Scoring is the same as the normal FPL but each week it’s a head to head against someone else in the league with 3 points for a win. So you just need to beat your opponent each week rather than outscore everyone else. Whoever has the most wins/points at the end of the season takes the title.

It’s actually a bit like on here with the squad building element and you can also do trades too. Any players not drafted (plus any real life new signings) are available to picked up from the waiver wire each week so those hidden gems nobody expected can also be scooped up if you’re savvy!
