FA Cup Final
Big day for both teams looking to add some silverware to their cabinets
City started brightly with some fast free flowing football, they came close through Vlahovic but it went over, as time went on i feel Newcastles midfield would win that battle as City seem a bit lightweight in that department, not saying its a bad midfield but no one apart from Caicedo to really get stuck in in the middle of the pitch, Newcastle certainly didnt dominate as City had the better footballers but they didnt get much change out of Palhinha and Mainoo, they did get some joy through Hakimi tearing down the flank, and this is where the opener came from, he and Odegaard combining well to get passed Mainoo and get a cross in before Walker could get there, Vlahovic with a bullet header to make it 1-0 and it remained that way until half time. Newcastle turned the screw a bit and started to hold on to the ball well, KDB getting onto the ball more, he played a delightful ball into the feet of Alvarez who with a deft touch made his way passed Bastoni and smashed it into the roof of the net, City were playing some nice football but with no real end product, this was to be their downfall as Newcastle were to take advantage, Walker flying down the right handside, linking well with KDB, they had plenty room as Hakimi was slow getting back, Walker gliding into the box for a return ball, it was the sweetest of strikes but was enough to put the ball passed Kelleher, subs were made but with City going all out, Merino coming on nullified this making Newcastles midfield even harder to break down, they held on and the final whistle went, Newcatle FA Cup Champions
Newcastle 2 - 1 Man City
Vlahovic(Hakimi)
Alvarez(KDB), Walker(KDB)

Neves to PSG always looked a good move. Surprised PSG haven’t signed a centre forward though
havent replaced Mbappe yet?

Not yet, they had Asensio as false 9 by looks of it. They probably don’t need a cf to win n French league with Muani and Ramos there too, but don’t see it working in Europe
Ramos needs to step up, been largely dissapointing
