Euros start in June and it's basically march so wont have any match fitness at all and I'd say Welbeck and Sturridge are better options anyway, Bent doesn't really suit England IMO he can really hold the ball up like Welbeck and not as creative as Sturridge

Whatabout Andy Carroll? Even though he has been pants since he has joined Liverpool he can still hold the ball up or flick it on. Look at the goal v Bolton for example. A ball into Andy Carroll's head and he flicks it on to Bellamy who has pace. Why not flick it on to Sturridge?

But this is a matter of whether he can start to score a few goals (talking about before June incase Bent isn't fit.)

If that League Table Prediction is correct then I can see us making a safe mid-table finsih this season. 12 points clear of the drop zone.

Carroll is 23 isn't he now? Think they go into it more because he wasn't worth 35m in the first place and hadn't proven anything to command anything like that. He can do a job but don't think he will ever be a star, Welbeck, Sturridge even Sordell can all be better players imo

Sordell isn't the player you think he is honestly! When he played against Reading he didn't move got 1 touch of the ball which was a pass that went straight back to us. He is overated.

Carroll's strength is meant to be in the air, yet even Rafael was winning his headers against him. Doesn't deserve to be near the England team.

Grant Holt would even be a better option for that role.
