Lost on SM. Already guaranteed play offs and I already know I am playing Espanyol.
Hopefully I can get promotion!

i say stay at yr current club. it sounds like you're about to embark on a good project with them. if you leave some other guy might come and ruin them and you wont want that

I have a second manager, that I always use as on every FM just in case I do badly with one team I don't have to start again, and managed to get the reputation on that up to continental which is really good after good spells with Copenhagen and Shakhtar but I'm currently unemployed.
Do I risk taking the Roma job and then applying with my other manager for the Boro job?

On SM, I conceded the least amount of goals in the league by 9 goals! Wow!

Just a shame my strikers can't score too many!

dont risk it mate. stick it out with yr current team. if you do badly then just wait for a good team to become free

Trust me i have done the same. i was at arsenal and i was top most the season but ended up coming 4th. in the summer i had made good transfer activity and had a strong squad. but some team became free and i got the job. i did badly with them and regretted leaving. Arsenal wouldnt take me back either

I sort of did it with Shakhtar.
I was Copenhagen and won the league 2 years in a row and did reasonably well in the Europa League which helped Denmark get 1 spot in the group stages for the champions. I had big plans for them the following season and got offered the job at Shakhtar and although I won the league 2 years running, I got bored in the 3rd year and ended up resigning after and embarassing 1-0 home defeat to some Bulgarian team. In Ukraine they have some stupid rule where you have to have at least 4 Ukrainians on the pitch at all times which hindered any chance I had at improving them.
I did get to return to Copenhagen with Shakhtar in the CL in my 2nd year with Shakhtar though.

Had this team though which I couldn't play:

Pyatov
Zabaleta Djourou Luiz Taiwo
Kompany Rakitskyi
Douglas Costa Fernandinho James Rodriguez
Eduardo

Plus a lot of younger players that I wanted to give a fair bit of game time but couldn't because I had to play some rubbish Ukrainian player instead.

AVB gonna get sacked then? Benitez to take over???

posted on 4/3/12

no chance of benitez taking over unless abromovic is obssessed with Torres lol

hopefully they see sense and give AVB the time he needs, this team will never get taken apart and put back together if managers change every season. Not too mention Benitez mostly bought a load of rubbish at Liverpool imagine what he'd do with millions to spend at Chelsea His time at Inter didnt go to well either

posted on 4/3/12

tbf he did better with his money then the last two liverpool managers
