Not neccessarily poor, but poor defensively. Evra arguably our most 'at risk' defender. Only been starting as he's captain, lots of Utd fans including myself would like to see Fabio start. In fact, I'd rather both the Da Silva's started.

With Vidic being slowly replaced by Smalling & Jones. Rate Smalling very highly

as a chelsea fan both cole and evra have declined this year, i dont think either are the best in the pl anymore but cole seems to be getting back to something like his best, evras defending is still getting worse

Hero, I think also as a Utd fan, Rafael is much less of a defensive liability than he used to be and should Definately be our starting RB, whilst Fabio is generally held up as the more talented of the two

Evra is still class, I dont like him and yes defending dodgy at times but a regular at both Utd and France so he cant be all that bad, If Fergie likes him thats good enough for me

And I can always use Sakho for harder games where I will be defending alot

Jones-Rami-Sakho-Evra can allow M'Vila to drop into CB when necessary, Evra attacks down left & Sakho moves to LB.

evra was dropped for france but not abidal has another health problem he will no doubt start again because lets be honest, clichy is awful, cissokho still very inexperienced in international football and theres no one else
