I've always maintained this

tbf people didnt argue against his quality just that he was always injured so it was difficult to count him as world class when he was barely playing for 4 weeks in a row

Podolski will provide a long shot option also. Something that our players lack apart from RVP and even he isn't that great at it sometimes.

Lukas Podolski isn't world class for me, in a Germany top maybe

No no LSTD lol wasn't convinced with Gervinho signing anyway. Always thought he'd need more than one season to settle. Think he can be a great outlet once he settles properly. He needs better decisions especially when he has an option to shoot/pass. I'm more than happy with:

Walcott - RVP - Podolski

Goals all round there. Problem is, the RVP situation.

Also could do with a CM, Gotze would be amazing but very very unlikely Apparently we're after M'villa

And finally, we want Vertonghen also and if we manage to sign him, he'd be very good. Can play anywhere at the back and DM.

So next season:

Sagna......Koscielny.....Verm.....Gibbs
........................M'villa/new DM
...............Song.............Wilshere
Walcott...............RVP.................Podolski

with players like Mert, Vertonghen, Wilshere, Gervinho, new CF on the bench. Exactly what we need, quality on the bench.

Most likely wilshere will be starting though lol

Ideally I'd like us to sign a big player, ie a gotze or a hazard, but doubt it.

Wouldn't mind signing Benayoun on a 2 year contract if he's available but wouldn't go over 3.5m for him, max 4m at a stretch. He's a great squad player.

Even if Man City win tonight they still won't win the league because they will lose at Newcastle who need to win to get 4th and Man Utd will end up beating Sunderland 3-0/4-0 or something like that.
