LSTD played Jovetic as CF because he was in a desperate situation. I remember him clearly saying he is an AM and LW. Playing him up top is like when Arsenal played Arshavin there.

secondly, look how long I waited for a LB, a whole season. it's very difficult to get a striker in, and soldado was one of those perfect strikers, can hold the ball up, right place at the right time. Remy is more of a SS in my opinion. And you lost soldado for pieters, i'm sure you could have got better.

it was a fair deal but overall your team loses out, no balance at all, and I realised last season, that is the main thing u need on this league

i prefer 2, excellent balance, and i think zhirkov would have been good for you as you have a typical holding midfielder in M'villa who always stays back, he would have given you width on the left especially as neymar does like to cut in sometimes.
